    Mechanical or Industrial Engineering

The Perfect Proposal, Quote, and Signature Solution - And Great Customer Service!

What do you like best about the product?
Before using PandaDoc, creating proposals, quotations, and customer agreements was a huge time suck. Now creating proposals is as easy as drag-and-drop, sending proposals is as easy as clicking a button, and getting binding signatures on agreements is a snap. I can access the system from any device (Mac, PC, phone, or tablet) and even create proposals while sitting with the customer. Every time this happens, the customer is impressed and gives me a competitive advantage. Plus, setting up the system was easy and did not require any technical or IT assistance, although when questions arise their customer service team is responsive and professional. I definitely recommend PandaDoc to my friends and colleagues!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like the ability to export to Word rather than just to PDF. I would also like the ability to transfer text from a proposal into an agreement (e.g. scope of services) without having to go to a more expensive pricing tier. That said, they are in business to make money so I get it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating proposals, creating quotations, creating customer agreements.

Great tool for executing contracts easily

What do you like best about the product?
It's user-friendly, keeps all of my contracts on file, and lets me know who's opened and/or signed contracts I send out.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing I dislike so far using the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use PandaDoc to send contracts to my clients to review and sign. This process makes it super easy for the clients to view and sign electronically and keep a copy.

Getting signatures done electronically. The customers do not have to be physically present

What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of it! It's super easy, and I always get notifications to see progress! when i used to send just word documents it always took time to get it back now it only takes minutes to get the contracts back.
my clients also like the idea better then having to print, sign, and send back.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really dislike anything about it.
i would add the option of being able to edit my document in the feree version and add more analytics for the premium optijn

That it takes my clients seconds to sign it.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy enough to use. Upload a doc. Mark up where things are to be filled in, signed, and what-have-you, and it works. Built-in workflow that's nice but still ends up doing a lot of email notifications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Probably dislike that it works in PDF mode primarily, and word doc is allowed at a higher price point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it mainly for signature workflow.

it's a simple process that keeps information secure, in place, easy to read and send out. There is minimal work involved

Something I dislike is that I need to use two different forms for in person or online students

PandaDoc- Worked great until their newest version :(

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using PandaDoc with minor issues Since Sept 2020. I have received prompt help with my queries through their Live Customer Support.
What do you dislike about the product?
The newest version has taken off the ability to "Duplicate" documents. A feature that I rely on heavily.
When I tried to use their tutorials for support, the tutorials have not been updated and continue to guide me per the previous version.
I found the customer support team to be too technical and almost 4 hours later were unable to assist me. The only way that they could help was if I gave them a URL link to a document which then they would turn into a workable document for me. Absolute nonsense. I dont really want 3rd parties handling my confidential documents and I see no reason to ask them to duplicate a document for me when not too long ago I could do it myself. And should I really be waiting 4 hours each time I need to create a new quote?

The latest version is very clunky, slow and freezes more frequently than the original version that I signed up to.
The TAB key is understood as an indent function by the software. So you physically have to use the mouse to move between sections. Images cannot be cropped within the document.

Unfortunately I will not be renewing my account with them, which is a shame. Their V1 worked beautifully well for my business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In its current version PandaDoc is a problem and has fractured my business flow. I am struggling to find any benefits.
I was extremely happy with v1 and my previous review highlights all the benefits I experienced as a user.

Incredibly streamlined process for contract signing, even with the free version!

What do you like best about the product?
The interface helps guide users on what to do. I have never had an issue with people filling in a document or signing a contract. Everything is clear and easy to use. The fact that you also get an electronic signature, makes using Pandadocs a lot more secure than some emails. If I would have the pro version, I am sure I would fall in love with the templates function.
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't any things to dislike about it, other than the fact that you have to pay for the pro version. I have never used the pro-version, so I wouldn't know if there are any improper features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pandadocs has allowed us to streamline our contract signing with external individuals. It also helps keep an updated overview of all contracts that I have sent out or signed.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the easily editable functionality, and with the templates our Ops organization has set up for us, I can get contracts and amendments out in literally a fraction of the time it's taken me to get them out when using other contract/document tools!
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that I can't personally duplicate documents; however, from what I understand, that functionality exists for other user roles in PandaDoc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems being solved by me and my team are a) slow contract development and b) content inconsistency within contracts and documents. We used to have a hard time drafting and sending our contracts/amendments out to prospects/customers with any sort of efficiency but now they're out fast and they all look identical/up-to-standard!

Easy-to-use, flexible and incredibly polished document management and e-signature solution

What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to create a beautifully styled proposal in less than a minute. The platform is straightforward to use and saves me and my team hundreds of hours a month. One of the best features is the recipient's ability to tailor the pricing to suit their needs by editing quantities or adding/removing optional extras. It reduces the time my salespeople are waiting for information and instead makes our engagement with the client much richer.

There are some really eye-catching features such as embedding GIFs and video which make for a richer proposal and tell a better story to the client.

Being able to see profitability in the pricing tables is fantastic as well - it's far easier to gauge the value of a client when I can clearly see what they're worth.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's frustrating having to wait more than 10 seconds for a PDF to be generated just to check that page breaks have appeared where expected. For new users, this is a painful experience. It's really important to get templates and content right first time so that isn't an issue at the time proposals are being issued.

I wish PandaDoc templates linked to dynamic content such as a Service Description, Bios, Company Description etc. Instead, these either have to be inserted during document creation or edited along with all the other templates if a core re-usable component changes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to standardize our proposals across the business and drive our brand hard with clients. Salespeople can now create proposals on the fly in front of a customer, saving nearly two hours per client. This has increased our profitability by more than 25% by helping our sales team double the number of meetings they can have with clients!

We have also eliminated pricing variations and been able to enforce associated sales policies.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Create as much re-usable content as possible. Re-usable content and a complete product catalog will make your document creation process lightning-fast and gives the highest return on your investment. If you are using Pipedrive, I have found this integration seamless and invaluable to our business as it gives complete visibilty to management on all aspects of the sales process, keeping documents in one place for later reference.

It's also important, if integrating, to customise your Sales system to provide as many document variables as possible, which makes the proposal generation instant in some cases and makes it easy to convince salespeople to use it properly.

The biggest time saving comes from creating templates from your existing proposals and avoiding the pitfall of simply uploading PDFs or Word documents for signature.
