Monday makes my Mondays better
What do you like best about the product?
Monday.com has made both my life and my team's work much easier. We no longer need to sift through countless emails just to track our progress on specific processes. Working in sports logistics means that mistakes are simply not an option for us. Thanks to Monday and its features, we feel more secure and confident in our daily tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't had any problems with Monday.com to date.

Monday has made it much easier for our team to keep track of our processes. We no longer need to sift through countless emails just to find out the status of a particular task.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like using monday as part of my day to day at work. It helps me keep track of the activities I have for the upcoming days and even weeks, as well as checking capacity on the team. This way nothing is forgotten but also
makes your weeks more efficient and productive, focusing on the priority activities and adding new ones as required.
I feel very comfortable havign the tool as this way I do not have to have all the information in my mind, and its easy to remember what I have to do for the next day.
Also I find it very useful that in case I am on holidays, anyone else on my team can pick up something that needs attention or know where I left things.

What do you dislike about the product?
Perhaps its already there but for our sales dashboard it can be easy that someone changes a field by mistake, so maybe having a way to lock changes for the field names.
Sometimes filters might be confusing at first, which of course, once you get used to them, its really easy to understand.
I know that it has compatibility with Salesforce CRM and if it could be linked (my company has not taken this action yet), it would reduce double-work (info placed on 2 places at same time) and increase productivity even further. That way we are not only focusing on the project

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a sales team, we have a lot of projects we are working at the moment and we have different layers of sub-teams that can work on a project at a given time. Therefore, communication and visibility are key, which make monday the perfect tool for this purpose. We all use it very comfortably during our meetings to keep track of our projects, new inquiries, capacity of all team members as well as prioritise our activities accordingly.
Sometimes a project gets cold and comes back after some time and its easy to check who was working on it and have some background information.
Also for our internal controls, its easy to see a chart of projects to come and how they fit onto our production schedule.
We use monday to have visibility of our daily presence in the office as well as to keep track of people on holidays, which I find super useful.

What do you like best about the product?
It’s flexible and very customizable. We have been able to adapt it to almost every department in the company.

Workflows do not have a loop function to update more that one item at a time

Workflow management has been an issue for my team and Monday helped greatly
Solid project management platform but has room for improvement and is a bit costly
What do you like best about the product?
I like monday because it is easy to setup for beginners and those switching from other project platforms. It allows you to customize workflow and get updates in real time. This makes teamwork very easy by putting all project information and communications in one place. The sales team seemed welcoming and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike is that monday has many features that may not be ideal for a small team. They seem overwhelming and the platform seems less intuitive for a beginner. The price is a bit high especially when you compare it with other project management platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
monday helped us to stay on the same page and keep track of the project to avoid overlooking some tasks or missing deadlines. We have a team focusing on different tasks and have to work together on almost every project. Coordinating every task through email threads calls meetings chats was hectic before we started using this platform.

I appreciate the incredible support from our account representative, who is always eager to help and attends to all our needs. I find monday.com invaluable as it continuously solves problems and serves as a quick solution, replacing the need for a dedicated development team for many tasks. Our commitment to renewing it for the next fiscal year highlights its great benefits and functionality, unmatched by other software we use.

I like Monday.com because of the notifications that are sent. This helps to keep the team on track, ensuring that all deadlines are met.

Being able to automate the hundreds of small, boring daily tasks, and having the ability for the entire team to view what is happening without having to ask anyone else.

Not being able to automatically email fwd PDF's that external people have added.

Complex UI Detracts from Task Management Efficiency
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Monday Work Management streamlines project management by allowing us to easily assign tasks to team members and track their progress. The integration with Slack is particularly beneficial, as it ensures that all notifications and reports from Monday are seamlessly delivered to Slack channels, saving time and effort in keeping up with updates.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found managing tasks in Monday.com to be quite challenging due to the complex and unintuitive UI, which is also sometimes sluggish and nonresponsive. The UI made it difficult for me to figure out what to do next or how to proceed, and it occasionally froze for unknown reasons. This was a major challenge for my team. Additionally, the team management module and profile management features are complex and hard to understand, making them overwhelming to use. Moreover, configuring Monday required dedicating an entire person to manage tasks, which isn't efficient for small teams. Finally, the platform lacks certain automation features that allow every team member to update tasks seamlessly, which I found was better supported in Jira.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find the product simplifies task assignment and tracking, allowing me to easily manage who is responsible for what and the progress made, eliminating the need for manual status checks.
