Some of the best customer service I’ve ever received
What do you like best about the product?
Soc2 is a nightmare, so having a dedicated cs manager who's always eager to help move things forward is a must. And apart from the way to use platform, thoropass has the best CS

Would be happy for more AI to help out with the writing of documents

Makes SOC 2 compliance as simple as it can get
What do you like best about the product?
Excellent integrations with other platform to automatically check off quite a few compliance tasks based on how you have setup existing tools. Provides a simple dashboard to review which items still need work.
The communication along the way was great as well. I was able to easily get answers to any questions I had and there were build in checkpoints to review what comes next.

What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, it seems like one of the integrations would have a glitch, but this was quickly resolved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thoropass allowed us to quickly and easily get our SOC 2 Type 1 certification. This benefits us by proving to our customers that we take security seriously and have implemented best practices to ensure the security and compliance of our platfrom.

What do you like best about the product?
It is a user-friendly. It gives the user friendly and easy acces to all. It guides you to a better undertstanding on the process and such.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first it confusing and requires a lot but a long the way, it give you since of great knowledge and direction.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thoropass resolves the confusion in the system. Also it gives clarity especially to those inefficient and ineffective system. Unorgamized system due to lack of communication. Thoropass provides detailes that is visible to everyone that is involve and gives easirer visibility and solution. To me who handles different accounts and documents, this gives me sense of security that I can rely quickly and easily on documentation matters.
Type 1 report done in 1 month!
What do you like best about the product?
We have been working on our SOC 2 for awhile on our own. We were finding it hard to keep track of the controls develops and also looking for industry best practices. Thoropass sales team was quick at giving us platform and audit quote and transition to client service team after was seamless. We were able to implement a lot of work done previously directly with Thoropass's SOC 2 roadmap feature and obtained our Type 1 report in record breaking time! We are very happy with the platform and the audit integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at this stage! It's been a very good experience for us thus far.

Management our controls/reviews and integrated audit in one platform. We were able to self-pace and monitor completion.
Small business friendly
What do you like best about the product?
Our customer success manager Jarad made the process toward certification understandable and less daunting than we thought it might be. He was cheerful and supportive throughout.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the features are still in development and don't work as intended, but Jarad was quick to help us navigate around them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They led us first-timers through the process. I think the "one task, multiple controls" feature reduces the amount of work we would have otherwise had to do.

The organization of the framework and timely responses from their team.

The risk registry was not as useful as we would like.

What do you like best about the product?
The software product is brilliant, very user friendly. Actually enjoy logging into the product frequently to maintain compliance. Also, integrating Thoropass with our Microsoft's Azure tenant was very easy.
But what sets this company apart is the customer success representative assigned to you. Between the regular prompts from the software and the scheduled meetings with the representative, makes traversing the compliance landscape (almost) fun!

The software is constantly being improved/upgraded so adapting to the changes as they are published can take a little extra time. But, always worth it!

Our clients and their industry require SOC 2 compliance. Having this certification gives us a level of confidence in our systems and processes in an increasingly dangerous online world. It also helps to set is apart from our competitors.
My preferred compliance platform
What do you like best about the product?
I have experience with other compliance platforms, and Thoropass is my favourite by far. Nice UI, easy to navigate, integrated audit. 100% recommended!

They still lack live chat, but the support team is great and responds in a timely manner.

Thoropass makes HIPAA and SOC2 Compliance Easy
What do you like best about the product?
Thoropass has assembled all of the parts needed to pass thse complex compliance frameworks. And because we are doing two at once, they identify overlap so we can make progress on both. Plus we have regular (and quick) calls with our point of contact at Thoropass to help us if we have any questions or issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is evolving and improving quickly. We've had a very small number of technical issues but they've always been resolved very quickly.

Thoropass is helping us meet HIPAA and SOC2 compliance.
