Accelerate SOC II report
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is elegant; the roadmap is easy to follow. The tasks are clear and concise.
What do you dislike about the product?
All the notifications are duplicated. Some policies and procedures may be combined in one document.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It offers resources embedded within the platform.

Game Changing Audit Assistance
What do you like best about the product?
Many aspects really set this solution apart. The policy and procedure guides do a fantastic job outlining critical content needed to build SOC controls. The Laika team has truly thought through every part of this solution. I can track all our hardware inventory and run pre-written security training through the platform. I have peace of mind to knowing everything is all in one place. The customer service is also very attentive and helpful. I can't imagine completing a SOC Audit without Laika.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to dislike about Laika. The only small issue we have run into is keeping up with comments within controls. There is no centralized place to find past comments. You must go into the individual control the comment was created in. This is a minuscule inconvenience compared to how incredibly helpful this platform is. Do not let this deter you!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having to pass SOC Audits as a small business is a daunting challenge. Laika is the one-stop shop for building and maintaining audit controls. Laika takes on the burden of understanding what is necessary to pass an Audit and allows my team to just focus on creating and implementing procedures around those guidelines. You do not need an audit specialist on your team to pass an audit; you just need Laika.

What do you like best about the product?
Laika's user interface, team, and overall structure made preparing for a SOC 2 Audit obtainable. Our small team would have been lost without them. Their new UI looks awesome too.
What do you dislike about the product?
They're continuing to work on their integrations - not something I dislike, but something they're actively building out and could cause limitations for certain users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Laika is a all-in-one solution to obtaining your SOC 2 Audit and beyond.

What do you like best about the product?
Laika's customer success managers and compliance experts are friendly and accommodating, making you feel incredibly well-supported along the way.
Their internal audit firm makes the audit process remarkably seamless, and all communications with your auditors can be managed from within the platform easily.

What do you dislike about the product?
The software does not have a risk register functionality and instead your CSM will provide you with an Excel template, which is something that competitors offer.
The automation doesn't cover everything, you'll find that competitors are able to automate much more of the evidence collection from your connected integrations than Laika can.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Laika helped us acheive SOC 2 Type 1 in an unbelievably quick amount of time and are continuing to support us throughout the Type 2. We're incredibly happy with how easy they have made our compliance journey.

Laika helped us transform our processes and organization to make the Tint Platform SOC2 compliant.
The biggest challenge of this journey was the explosive growth of the team!
We started to explore SOC2 when we were only 4 employees at Tint, and now we are 40 when we signed the SOC2 Type I audit.
During this project, we hired our Head of People, Head of Finance, Chief Operations Officer, the whole product and design team, and 2/3 of the engineering team.
Obviously, a lot of what we did at Tint, in the beginning, had to change multiple times in the process.
The team at Laika really helped us find creative ideas, challenge or validate our hypothesis, and push for solutions that were always adapted to our size and specific situation.
I've really enjoyed every person that I've discussed with at Laika, everyone has been easygoing and made this process more fun.
It's only the beginning of the journey, as we're just done our Type 1 audit, we're really looking forward to the next steps!

The tooling was lacking sometimes, I've had a few issues with the documents management, and sometimes some integrations were a bit buggy.
Also, some templates were better adapted for bigger companies, and we're only a small startup.
In their defense, I've been using the legacy app, and we'll be migrated to the new app really soon so I'm excited to see the new version.

Laika can guide your company to become compliant with any security certification from A to Z.
They've guided us in the whole journey, and we're still working with them to this day for the first SOC2 Type 2 audit.

Really outstanding service and question handling
What do you like best about the product?
Laika is a really useful tool and a category of tool that I wish had existed earlier. We get excellent service from incredibly knowledgeable professionals. Their ability to handle questions in a pragmatic and straightforward way is unparalleled in my (somewhat limited) experience. Their software platform greatly simplifies what normally lives in excel, email, docs, etc etc and gets very hard to manage very quickly. They are also stage appropriate for us as a growth-stage company.
What do you dislike about the product?
They are still building out functionality, so a lot of exciting stuff is still on the roadmap. But their speed of delivery has been good. They may not work for every company out there, depending on your size and if you need every bell and whistle ever made.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing all of our compliance activity and making sure we are leaving no stone unturned. Creating credibility for our company with our customers. Dealing tricky security questions with real expertise. Helping us architect and maintain a secure product and infrastructure.
Could not have gotten our SOC done without Laika!

The Laika team held our hands through the process and made sure we were set up for success. No question was too small - and they were always available. They taught me alot about not only the process but about how to build, maintain and monitor robust controls
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think there is anything I dislike. Maybe the team could show off more about some of the additional benefits that Laika offers early on. They are underplayed!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Source of truth for all our policies. Where we deliver our compliance related training programs. Would not be able to get SOC certified without them. Great source of additional materials for us to referance.

Intuitive and easy-to-follow product with ready-built templates. Also, exceptional customer support. All at a very reasonable price.
