Great service!
What do you like best about the product?
From the outset, Thoropass impressed us with their deep understanding of ISO 27001 standards. Their consultants brought a wealth of knowledge and practical insights that demystified the certification requirements. They meticulously guided us through each phase, ensuring that we not only met but exceeded the standards expected. Their ability to break down complex concepts into manageable tasks was invaluable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont see any downside about Thoropass.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been showed step by step on how to prepare the documentation and enhance the internal procedure.

Simple and convenient. Implementation is easier than with other platforms.

Expensive. Why does compliance software have to cost so much.

What do you like best about the product?
Thoropass made our SOC-2 journey so easy! We had to start from the ground up and between our compliance expert Danni and the platform we were able to achieve our Type 1 without any issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
We didn't experience any downsides in our work with Thoropass
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had requests from Clients for SOC-2 documenation. Using Thoropass allowed up to create all the required security policies we needed in order to compliant.

What do you like best about the product?
Going through the SOC process can be pretty overwhelming, but Thoropass makes it easier. Even though the process itself is detailed and complex, the support from their team is really good.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, the SOC process itself is inherently complex but thats not necesary a Thoropass problem, one thing is that the site to complete the SOC can seem overwhelming sometimes, substration to leave just whats estrictly necesary will be good.

Thoropass is solving the problem of navigating the complex process of SOC compliance.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the requirements for specific certifications (eg: SOC2) could be more specific with a few more examples on which products/services to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thoropass is helping us become SOC2 compliant by providing a guideline on implementation as well as auditing us that the requirements have been met.

Great Pricing Structure and Customer Success
What do you like best about the product?
Their pricing is transparent and makes a lot of sense by including both the software and audit for SOC2. Their Customer Success and Onboarding have been top-notch and were essential for us to have a smooth audit process.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some features that sometimes have a confusing UX/UI but that's to be expected when working with a startup.

A Breath of Fresh Air in Compliance
What do you like best about the product?
I honestly love working with Thoropass. Dealing with certifications has always been a major headache in my book - endless policy writing and control setups that drag on for months. Thoropass has significantly streamlined the compliance process for us. Their approach integrates with our operations, providing templates and questionnaires that are straightforward and easy to use. One of the standout features to me is the automated integration with our cloud accounts and SaaS services, which has eliminated much of the manual work required in the past.
Their "Employee Training" module contains security awareness training as well as secure coding training. Both are essentially online PDFs of around 20 and 80 or so pages, respectively. Both have been really high quality. Lots of good, in-depth info without being too high-level but also not too verbose.
I'd also like to point out that everyone at Thoropass I had contact with was a pleasure to work with. Very knowledgeable and super responsive. I used to do certifications in a large org of 110k people, and now I'm in a startup of 6. Our customers were asking for SOC2 and ISO27001 because we're handling some sensitive data. I didn't think that certification at our size could be so streamlined. If you're in a startup and need to obtain a certification, or if you're in the EU and need to comply with NIS2 beginning in October 2024, I can highly recommend doing it with Thoropass.

What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't many things I don't like about the app, but if I have to choose one it'd be the "Word" editor you're using to edit policy documents. Sometimes it doesn't load or it makes my browser hang. It's like a bad version of Google Docs and behaves like a sluggish Java applet in the early 2000s. That said you don't spend too much time in it and at the end of the day it gets the job done.
