Thoropass is a must to get SOC-1 and/or SOC-2
What do you like best about the product?
Thoropass is absolutely incredible; their platform is powerful, intuitive, and efficient. Patrick’s guidance and support were exceptional from start to finish. We genuinely couldn’t have achieved SOC 1 without their expertise, dedication, and seamless process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing negative springs to mind. Even when there was an issue connecting their platform to our Amazon Web Services account, they resolved it in the blink of an eye.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thoropass streamlined and centralized our entire SOC 1 compliance process, eliminating guesswork and reducing the time spent coordinating evidence and documentation. Their platform and expert guidance gave us clarity, confidence, and efficiency—turning what could have been a stressful, error-prone process into a smooth and well-structured journey.
SOC-2 Type I & II for B2B SaaS Startup
What do you like best about the product?
I like that they have a dedicated customer success manager that guides our team to successfully complete the steps required to obtain SOC-2 compliance. The bi-weekly meetings are super helpful and they make it easy with their intuitive dashboard to complete tasks and track progress.
What do you dislike about the product?
We haven't experienced any downsides. The only thing is that some of the compliance steps are a bit redundant and repetitive, but that is the nature of compliance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us achieve SOC-2 Type I & II compliance certification to better service our enterprise customers.
Thoropass is a solid all in one audit platform
What do you like best about the product?
It's integration capabilities make it easy to automatically retrieve evidence, shortening the time involved in gathering and providing supporting data.
What do you dislike about the product?
We were an early adopter before it was Thoropass we've had some initial growing pains with incomplete features or features not working as expected due migration issues before Hey Laika became Thoropass. These issues have largely slowed down and the platform has stabilized, and existing features are being improved constantly. Customer support has been helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We work in a heavily regulated industry and have to comply with multiple compliance frameworks.Thoropass makes it easy to centrally manage the compliance aspect of all these frameworks.

What do you like best about the product?
Wasn't cookie cutter. Felt like they understood the stage of our business and how to help us get what we needed. Felt like thought partners in how to get the important things done and who to get in touch with for resources.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dashboard/interface had some onboarding (ex, risk register).

An amazing SOC2 guide
What do you like best about the product?
Thoropass has been a huge help in getting our company to be SOC2 type 1 compliant. Their straight forward process and helpful team has guided us through the whole process.
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing I disliked about thoropass was the ui can be a bit confusing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s a clear guide on what’s needed to get to the level of compliance we need to grow as a company and support new ventures.
The Thoropass platform and team have been extremely helpful.
What do you like best about the product?
Victoria and the entire Thoropass audit team have had great suggestions along our journey. The platform itself is an easy way to store documents and track progress.

NO downside yet to working with Thoropass

Thoropass is helping us to improve documentation and improve our processes around compliance.
Thoropass Pentesting Services are Very Good
What do you like best about the product?
Their pentesting services are fantastic! They offer Slack integration for your Pentest where you can collaborate more directly with the agent doing the work. They make our one pentest a year painless.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that more of their offerings should integrate with Slack, PCI & SOC2 auditors for example.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So far they've been instrumental in our third-party pentesting.
Platform Wins
What do you like best about the product?
Most SOC2 vendors just push you through with policies, Thoropass is a full platform making it extremely easy to not only navigate the SOC2 journey but ongoing management of the program. The team behind all of it was built with a platform in mind too so if anything is ever a question, you get a real person, with a real answer. No scripts.
What do you dislike about the product?
They are still maturing as a company so features keep coming but I would love more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are helping us navigate the journey for SOC2. They have made the entire management of it easier for us.
Overall great experience and easy to get started
What do you like best about the product?
Implementation process was easy and the team was great. They were always available to answer my questions and walk through the process step by step.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigating the platform can be challenging at times. Some actions like performing access reviews require a lot of clicks that seem unnecessary. The workflows could be cleaned up a bit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thoropass manages our SOC2 compliance. It tracks and alerts us of the things that we need to do to get and stay compliant.
It was a very professional experience working with Thoropass
What do you like best about the product?
Having everything in one place in the Thoropass portal makes the audit experience more seamless. Allows to keep tasks organized and for us to stay on top of things. The Thoropass staff is also very friendly and professional and always eager to help.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Thoropass portal is not very intuitive, take a while to get the hang of it but once over the learn curve, it is a help in the audit process.
