Easy to use, less expensive

What do you like best about the product?
Virtru is a great option for small business owners, it's low cost and is as easy to use as toggling the on botton to secure an email. It just could not get any easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
If it's off and you add documents and then turn it off it drops the documents. You need to start with Virtru on before you add, it would be convenient to add at any time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HIPAA Compliance when sending emails. But there seems to be more than what I use it for considering the available drop down choices in the above question.

Seemless, easy way to send and receive secure emails

What do you like best about the product?
We send emails to "lay people" who don't have much experience accessing secure documents. Very few have issues accessing the emails we send, and opening the emails doesn't take a lot of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the virtru button turns off without notification or any activity on my part, so I have to turn it back on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to send HIPAA information. Ability to send secure emails.

Forcing the user to choose encrypted email when certain terms or strings are used.
What do you dislike about the product?
Plugin for Chrome is flaky and needs improvement.

Great product to encrypt email communication across organization

What do you like best about the product?
Seamless setup and ability to automatically encrypt sensitive information.
What do you dislike about the product?
Encryption/Decryption does not work with most Helpdesk platforms. If an email is encrypted, the helpdesk team cannot access it through ZenDesk, Service Now, or other Support ticketing systems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We must encrypt emails with HIPAA content. Virtru solution is easy to set up, and it provides an option to manually or automatically encrypt communication.

Virtru Option for Encrypted Email

What do you like best about the product?
Since the transition with Virtru it has been easy to train staff on sending encrypted emails. We work with a lot of families and school districts and need to make sure that we are keeping their information confidential. The implementation was very easy to do and customer support was available for any questions that we had. We use this platform on a daily basis and was easy to intergrate into our email system.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue that we are having is that employees are sending emails through Virtru all the time vs. the emails that are data sensitive. It's a feature that we need to address with our staff to know when they should be selecting to send their email through Virtru.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Virtru is helping us train staff to sending PIR information encrypted vs. just sending it through email. With cyber security on the high rise we need to make sure that we are keeping our clients information as confidential as we can.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use from my GSuite. Love the integration. Definitely improving over time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not perfect as it seems to slow down sometimes. Some clients have a hard time accessing it.

Noting that i can think off. only thing that comes to my mind is admin dashboard can be improved but not a big deal.

Easy Secure Email Authentication

What do you like best about the product?
Its very frictionless to set it up. The admin controls are straightforward and I particularly appreciate how it lets you set up a billing invoice email so it can go straight to our accountants.
What do you dislike about the product?
The chrome extension can be a bit buggy. Will need to occassionally toggle it on or off.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
While we do have a BAA with Google and gmail when we send emails containing PHI to our customers we do require encryption and Virtru was a straightforward way to enable it.

Sometimes it "disappears" from a user's email and it has to be downloaded again.

What do you like best about the product?
Advanced solution that provides the best in email and file encryption while making it simple for even the most novice of technical users to use and comply. User adoption does not require a lot of work when they quickly recognize their concerns about working-with, sharing, and transmitting student personally identifiable information (PII) is no longer a concern of theirs. Deployment from beginning to end is a less than a minute (can be automatic if the extension is automatically pushed out to the user). Initial user training is also less than a minute. Most gratifying is the recognized return on investment (ROI) is almost immediate. Everyone in today's professional landscape who communicate electronically with digital data sharing will find Virtru to be a truly satisfying security application.
What do you dislike about the product?
Education pricing can sometimes be a deterant for those who have the least but need it the most.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
K-12 Education works closely with student health and education records; teachers, administrators, and health aides for students who are on a 504 special needs / special education program are handling student data that (by law) must be protected. Student data "at-rest" (stored data) and when "in-transit" (shared data - with parents or state health organizations) must be in a secure (encrypted) state. This would potentially involve school teachers, administrators, nurses, specialists, and other student program supporters. These critical situations must be simple for these users to activate encryption compliance (which is enabled with the simple "click" on a button).
