Virtru is excellent
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use and download to your system. The customer support is great. We use this on a daily basis throughout our company.
What do you dislike about the product?
It uninstalls every now and then. But it is easy to re-download.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keep our HIPPA privacy in compliance.

It is simple, it works, it requires minimal training
What do you like best about the product?
Within the context of non-profit organization and working with many individuals reluctant to embrace new technology, Virtru's embedded email encryption solution has proven to be the simplest and most effective solution we could roll out. After more than a year of use I can confirm it was a smart decision and well worth the cost over alternative solutions offered.
What do you dislike about the product?
My team wishes they could initiate a secure email natively from the mobile gmail app vs using the Virtru app but its certainly manageable and understandable. Also a minor, gripe but Virtru requires reestablishing credentials something at the most inconvenient times. Its an understandable need given the nature of security.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have to handle communications involving PHI on occasion. This fits the bill perfectly for secure communication with external partners.
Best no-hassle secured email option out there
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the recipients don't need to sign in and create a login to receive a secured email. Many people hate creating a new login just for the purpose of receiving documents thru a secure email.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Virtru system doesn't always play nice with gmail. Sometimes I get errors in sending.

Ease of sending emails with sensitive information.

Allows us to get information to vendors safely without worrying about PII being stolen.

Sometimes it can get a little confusing for our end-users. But with a little extra support they are good to go.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to use — I can send encrypted emails directly from my inbox without any complicated steps. It gives me peace of mind knowing my messages are secure, and the recipient doesn’t need to jump through hoops to read them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the user interface can feel a bit clunky, especially when trying to manage permissions or revoke access. Also, recipients who aren't familiar with Virtru occasionally have trouble opening encrypted emails, which can cause delays

Virtru helps solve the problem of securely sharing sensitive information over email without risking data breaches or unauthorized access. It ensures that only intended recipients can view the content, and features like access expiration and revocation give me control even after sending. This provides peace of mind, helps maintain compliance with data privacy regulations, and builds trust with clients and colleagues.

Easy to use and inexpensive.
What do you like best about the product?
So easy to use. Click a button and your email is encrypted.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the Virtru system will not come up in my Google mail. It takes restarting my computer to get it to work again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are required, as a medical facility, to be HIPAA compliant. Virtru allows for that.
Great Service
What do you like best about the product?
Very useful and easy add on to gmail. Customer service is also great and responds quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost is a tad pricey, but as a business with confidential information, it is worth it.

As a business, we are able to send encrypted emails and the receiver can access it without problems, even if they do not have Virtru.
User Friendly and Secure
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite aspect about Virtru Email Encryption is that is easy to set up and user friendly. I use it everyday and it makes my job easier to protect sensitive information.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downsides of using the Virtru Email Encryption is that some emails get overlapped different threads based on the subject line. I repeat my subject lines for uniformity purposes but this would result in miscommunication and confusion.

Virtru allows me to share PHI information securely. I can maintain communication with stakeholders without missing vital information.
