Strong Security, But Occasional Sending Issues
What do you like best about the product?
It secures the message so people cannot just access it easily .
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Virtru doesn't always send the message after encryption. So I have to redo all the steps until it does.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes it easy to send electronic mail in a safe way.

What do you dislike about the product?
There should be a demo on how the encryption works and what the receiver should expect so that the sender can accordingly inform the receiver to expect an email with the subject line and from email id
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to send and receive large documents which would not have been possible over email
Enhanced Privacy, But Needs Better Delivery
What do you like best about the product?
I like that with Virtru Email Encryption, only the intended receiver has access to the emails, which makes the communication more secure. The inclusion of a BAA (Business Associate Agreement) also adds an extra layer of security, addressing privacy concerns effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes clients are not familiar and don't know how to access Virtru Email Encryption. Most often, it initially goes to spam, and they don't see it. Also, very expensive

I use Virtru Email Encryption for business correspondence that requires HIPAA compliance, ensuring privacy and security. Only the receiver has access, making it more secure.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Virtru Email Encryption for its ease of use, particularly with email integration and strong access controls. The email integration is especially valuable because it enables user-friendly encryption, which aligns with our need to become CMMC compliant. The strong access controls allow us to enforce least-privilege access and maintain control over sensitive information. The initial setup was also easy to implement with minimal technical challenges.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a small learning curve for new users and additional reporting. While the tool itself is straightforward, a couple of employees need additional guidance on when to apply encryption and how to manage access control properly.

Virtru Email Encryption protects sensitive communications, reducing data exposure risk. It provides strong access controls and user-friendly email integration, helping us maintain control over our sensitive information.
Exceptional Support and User-Friendly Interface
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is easy to use, and the customer service, along with the customer experience managers, are excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really aren’t many downsides to this product. We have experienced a few glitches or minor issues, but each time, their customer support team has resolved or addressed them quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Virtru assists us in securing emails and files, especially when we are working with third parties or managing data that GFS classifies as sensitive.

Confidence that our HIPAA requirements are met as our communications are confidential. It's easy to use and understand for my staff.

my staff often have to re-activate the Virtru on their email and I'm not sure why- then they always call the office admin staff to walk them through it

What do you like best about the product?
I find Virtru Email Encryption very easy to use because it's right there, and I don't have to think about it not working. I haven't had any customers complain about issues with being able to open emails. I also love the ability to add a personal greeting before the encryption. The initial setup was incredibly easy.

I haven’t had any issues with Virtru.

Being able to send sensitive information with peace of mind.
User-Friendly and Secure Communication Platform
What do you like best about the product?
On the provider side, it is very user friendly and I feel it is a safe way to communicate sensitive information.
What do you dislike about the product?
Others seem to have a difficult time opening emails when they are unfamiliar with the platform. People who haven't been able to open the emails have been from government agencies such as Kansas Legal Services, hospitals and payroll services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are only able to send and receive emails that are sent securely for the protection of our individuals in service. This also allows us to be in compliance with state laws and regulations.
