Virtru is a good deal
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it helps to encrypt my emails that have sensitive information.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it will automatically encrypt an email that does not contain sensitive information. Occasionally, I have email recipients to tell me that they are unable to open my email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It ensures that my emails are delivered safely.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of use! I take comfort that my staff can protect sensitive information with one click. I also have been consistently impressed with the customer service from Virtru. From the sales pitch to well after the sale was finalized, I could count on a quick and friendly response to my many, many questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost is steep, especially for a nonprofit organization, but the discount helped quite a bit. I also wish I could assign users with email addresses other than Gmail.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When we started billing Medicaid, we needed to have a HIPAA-compliant messaging system. We tried a few "free" services and ran into issues with user-friendliness, message limits, and internal control. Virtru removed all those issues, so we could focus on doing our work and submitting billing without fighting the encryption software.

Extremely Easy To Use and Secure Email Encryption System
What do you like best about the product?
Virtru is integrated right into our Google Gmail interface and is extremely easy to use for not only the sender but also the recipient of the encrypted email message.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing that I dislike about Virtru at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Virtru allows us to quickly and securely send messages and files with sensitive data in them to external recipients without requiring our users to log into a separate system or open a different browser tab.
Easy and user friendly

Knowing my emails are safe. Software is easy to use.

I don't like that when I send an email unsecure that my attachment will be removed.

Helping send safe protected emails with client information.
Works well for Google Mail encryption
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use in the Google Mail arena. Users can quickly turn on encryption and set settings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Google Drive connector could operate better. Seems to slow down users when right-clicking on files and folders

Google Drive connector often slows down user experience within drive.google.com.

Simple To Use Encryption for Gmail
What do you like best about the product?
Virtru is a very user-friendly way to simply encrypt emails coming from Gmail. It as simple as installing the extension and activating your account.

Thus far I have not ran into any issues with Virtru.

Virtru ensures that as sensitive information is passed via email, that it is secure and only available to the designated parties.

I like the fact it is easy for me to use and feels secure.
What do you dislike about the product?
Others cannot open the email so easily, especially if it is their first time receiving this email. Step-by-step instructions in the recipients' email.
