Easy to use, secure.
What do you like best about the product?
It's part of the platform as an add on so it's easy to use and the prompt message helps you double check if an email needs to be secure
What do you dislike about the product?
Its price is a bit high. Adding additional licenses can take some time as a representative needs to be reached.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps with sending secure, confidential information.

It needs to be resynced at times, but the process is easy.

Virtu works very well in the education setting to send confidential emails.

It allows the school counselors to send important confidential emails.
Quick and easy to install to send secure emails.
What do you like best about the product?
Sending secured emails to other facilities. It is a click of a button to send out the email. It is secure and it is quicker than sending out a fax. It makes my job easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Downloading the Virtru to every computer you use regardless if it's the same email. Downloading Virtru once to the email so it sends out secured email regardless of the computer you are using.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving and benefitting me by it being Hippa complient. It beats sending out faxes, I can complete work quicker and more efficiently. My performance has increased.
Security should always be this easy
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Virtru is both secure enough to handle sensitive data but also easy enough that we are able to roll it out to many users with almost no support issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside that I can think of is that users seem to sometimes need to reactivate the browser extension more often than they would prefer. It's a little clunky for delegated accounts, but I'm happy it supports them at all.

Virtru is helping us to make sure that sensitive data is always encrypted at rest and in transit. With a solution this easy everyone is willing to do their part
The best software ever!
What do you like best about the product?
It keeps my emails safe and works on it's constant encryptions.
What do you dislike about the product?
That you always have to do a 2-step process which is distracting and annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's protecting the security of my emails.
It sometimes turns on when I do not need it to making it harder to communicate with my peers.

It is quick and easy to use and makes protecting documents less time consuming.

It turns on when I have nothing to protect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is much easier than password protecting every document that needs to be sent secured and saves me lots of time.
Some consistent bugs, but better than many other secure email options
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the retrieval for our clients to whom we send emails using Virtru are a mostly painless process to read and review. It doesn't have the often standard downloading of a file to open, along with a separate login.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that sometimes after pressing Send and getting a completion status, Virtru will then tell me it could not be sent. At times, it takes ownership of my email account in doing so, and I lose the email I may have been reading or writing without warning. If you are busy, you may lose track of those emails and then pay the price. 2. I dislike that if I leave open an attachment from a Virtru email for too long, it logs me out of Virtru entirely and I have to log back in. 3. I dislike that some email servers cause Virtru emails to end up in Spam.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to send secure emails and Virtru allows a simple, but effective solution without having to deal with another software ecosystem. It also provides an easier read for our recipients and that's really the whole deal....if the people receiving it are bothered too much, they won't open the email and that's a fail.
Great encryption service
What do you like best about the product?
Very affordable, works well. Highly secure encrypted email. Recommended by Google. Works well with GMail which is a plus. Customer Service is highly responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Searching capability can be difficult and not always user friendly in Gmail.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We work with PHI with our customers. This is a secure way of sending and receiving PHI via email. We appreciate all that Virtru has to offer with a nice pricepoint that we can afford.
