Easy and convenient
What do you like best about the product?
No more logging into a second sight just to send an email

Virtru enables me to send sensitive patient health information stress free
What do you like best about the product?
Virtru is relatively user friendly and most of my patience are able to easily decrypt emails. I also appreciate I'm able to check whether a message I've sent has been decrypted and viewed or not.
What do you dislike about the product?
A few times a week, a glitch happens where the format of a virtu email changes and I'm not able to edit the email draft. I also sometimes get error messages when trying to send a virtru email and have to start a new email
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I now feel confident I'm adhering to HIPAA guidelines when I use Virtru to send patient reports, forms, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend Virtru to healthcare providers and others sending sensitive PHI
Virtru works effectively and quickly to secure customer data in email communications.
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to turn on when sending emails, and how clients are not required to make an account.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do run into issues with a lot of users unable to receive the one-time signin link. Not sure if this is due to user error, email permissions, or a Virtru issue.

We use it daily for clients to send tax information. it is very quick and allows me to maintain organization.
Easy Encryption!
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy Virtru is to use in both Gmail and the desktop Outlook application.
What do you dislike about the product?
Virtru doesn't handle group emails super well, but it is easy to workaround if you are comfortable with technology.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Virtru to ensure we are HIPAA compliant with all of our emails, both internally and externally.
Simple and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
That it takes one simple click to encrypt the email. Glad I don't have to go through a whole process and take time away from my usual day-to-day work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was a little more transparent on what the person sees on the other end. I've heard once or twice that they have a hard time using it, but I haven't had the same problems. I'm not sure how it looks from their view.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's easier to ask a borrower to send docs straight through the encrypted email. I like that it gives them that alternative instead of going through our website.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you change the subject for each person if you are sending out templates, otherwise it will throw all emails in one chain.

What do you like best about the product?
It's secured and it's easy! I am confident that my messages are sent securely.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasional delay in determining if PHI is really being shared.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to reply and resolve issues quickly by being able to share PHI with customers in a secure environment.
Great integrated encryption software
What do you like best about the product?
I like having the ability to toggle encryption for email from my inbox and to remove the option to forward encrypted emails

Sometimes there is a lag when I first open my email
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No problems. The biggest benefit is being able to electronically send encrypted files. It makes communicating about protected patient information much easier.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need encryption options for email, this is a great and easy service to use!
Not for Enterprise: Poor compatibility for clients and the worst customer support
What do you like best about the product?
We came from a traditional secure email service and Virtru's passwordless access via Gmail is very nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
The number of problems clients have had is completely overwhelming. Only about 50% of our messages can actually be retrieved without issue. Your client must have Gmail and Chrome for this solution to be user friendly. Otherwise you need to do pin logins every time and more times than not this will not work. Group emails and distribution lists aren't supported nor is Firefox. The sales reps and account managers do not help the situation and are unresponsive. If you are an enterprise that wants to keep your users happy and reading your messages look elsewhere.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HIPAA compliant email and secure billing invoicing. It works well when you have Gmail otherwise go a different way.

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy for recipients to decrypt email and attachments without the hassle of key installation or trusting. The Virtru team also offers a powerful API that we can use to build their encryption into software tools that we build or use internally in our work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Normalize the feature requirements to make product evalutation and justification simpler.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It providers great protection for the computer. Keeps everything nice and clean.

It's very easy to turn off and on depending on who I'm emailing.

Sometimes sending an attachment can be difficult.
