incredibly easy to use & very effective
What do you like best about the product?
We added Virtru to our organizations' Google Workspace and it was completely painless. I was up and running in minutes!
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't seen any downsides so far - it's incredibly easy to use and makes sure your data is protected
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were getting lots of spam emails that had information that had apparently been leaked from our emails. Virtru is helping us make sure sensitive data is being sent securely and makes sure we're not receiving targeted scams or fraud attempts. We also wanted to be able to send PHI over email and we can now do that.
It has been extremely useful in sending documents to clients and providers that are sensitive

Links directly to our Gmail accounts and you don't have to sign into separate software each time you want to send something.
What do you dislike about the product?
Email chains can become hard to follow if you are send and receiving in the same encrypted email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sending secure emails with client sensitive information. We also use it so new client can send us information before they are set up in our portal.
Virtu is easy to navigate and reliable!
What do you like best about the product?
I can easily add attachments. Upload is quick, and I can count on confidentiality.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything I dislike about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's enabling me to send confidential information quickly and reliably. My recipients have had no trouble opening messages, even if they have never used Virtu in the past.
Virtru is excellent
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use and download to your system. The customer support is great. We use this on a daily basis throughout our company.
What do you dislike about the product?
It uninstalls every now and then. But it is easy to re-download.

Keep our HIPPA privacy in compliance.
It is simple, it works, it requires minimal training
What do you like best about the product?
Within the context of non-profit organization and working with many individuals reluctant to embrace new technology, Virtru's embedded email encryption solution has proven to be the simplest and most effective solution we could roll out. After more than a year of use I can confirm it was a smart decision and well worth the cost over alternative solutions offered.
What do you dislike about the product?
My team wishes they could initiate a secure email natively from the mobile gmail app vs using the Virtru app but its certainly manageable and understandable. Also a minor, gripe but Virtru requires reestablishing credentials something at the most inconvenient times. Its an understandable need given the nature of security.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have to handle communications involving PHI on occasion. This fits the bill perfectly for secure communication with external partners.
Best no-hassle secured email option out there
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the recipients don't need to sign in and create a login to receive a secured email. Many people hate creating a new login just for the purpose of receiving documents thru a secure email.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Virtru system doesn't always play nice with gmail. Sometimes I get errors in sending.

Quick way to email safely
What do you like best about the product?
Allows us to get information to vendors safely without worrying about PII being stolen.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can get a little confusing for our end-users. But with a little extra support they are good to go.
