Seamless search across the SaaS landscape.
The AM are very supportive
They are coming with new features almost weekly
The org chart is really nice
It blew all of the other options available ( 12 months back) out of the water.

It's really expensive - like more expensive than Google Workspace, where most of the data is actually sat!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing betweeen departments and during our merger it was really helpful to engage people and keep everyone up to date

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Glean is its user-friendly interface that makes it easy for team members to navigate and access all the necessary tools and features. The platform's ability to integrate with other productivity tools, such as Google Drive, Trello, and Asana, has also been a huge plus for us. We no longer have to switch between multiple platforms, as everything is now conveniently accessible on Glean.
Another aspect that I appreciate about Glean is its intuitive design, which makes it easy to use for team members with varying technical abilities. The platform also offers powerful features like real-time notifications, chat, and file sharing, which make it easy for team members to stay up-to-date and collaborate effectively, even when working remotely.

one drawback of Glean is its limited customization options, which may not be ideal for teams with unique needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Glean is solving the problem of scattered and disorganized communication and project management by providing a centralized platform for team collaboration. This has benefited me by making it easier for me and my team members to communicate, collaborate, and track progress on our projects efficiently. With Glean, we no longer have to switch between multiple tools, which has saved us time and improved our overall productivity. The platform's powerful features and seamless integrations have also enabled us to work more effectively, especially when working remotely.

What do you like best about the product?
Gelan searches all available internal company resources in one click. It saves me a ton of time and makes sure I don't miss any resources to search. I love the Preview option for Slack results which allows us to view the results in-place without navigating to Slack. The ordering of results is also perfect. Like Trending posts, Work Anniversaries of colleagues etc.,
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not search google doc comments which has much valuable information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Searching solutions for issues others has already solved.

What do you like best about the product?
- Glean UI is responsive, and New Tab page caching is a beautiful concept.
- Workhub idea is expanding its use case beyond just search engines.
- Good team of responsive engineers, the focus is on building better products.
- The speed of introducing newer integration with other SaaS platforms is mind-blowing.

What do you dislike about the product?
- Very less customization experience for end users regarding search in datasources and homepage content. Access control should be way better and granular. Like AD, team, location, Department, GGroups, Slack channel etc levels.
- Minimal user usage insights in dashboards. e,g Datasource clicks, the Workhub widget view/clicks ratio is missing. No insights on ingestion failure or doc count etc. Lots more self-serve abilities need to add.

Glean solve permission-based search for Organization. With more and more SaaS platforms in market, companies use different tools for different purpose which cause the scattering of information and Glean act as the gatherer of information
Very helpful in searching across a variety of google docs, wiki and stack posts

Increased efficiency, can find almost anything. Relevance of search results
What do you dislike about the product?
Filtering could be improved, for example when I am entering search text and want to restrict search results to a specific site.

Discovering information in confluence, this search works better than confluence search results. Also like the fact that it searches in google doc, slack and several other resources
Unified search, but mostly finds documents based on exact keyword matches

With one unified search, glean helps find documents, slack messages, and acronym solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Glean sometimes seems like it won't find stuff unless you find an exact keyword match. I hope it supports ChatGPT-style searching over company documents soon.

I use glean every day to search through historical slack messages, JIRA tickets, and Confluence docs.
It's much better than the built-in search.
It also supports custom integrations, which we use to connect several other services to Glean.

Not happy with the permissions they ask for some integrations (they require full admin over gitlab just to index issues and PRs, full read/write over a lot of business websites to install the chrome extension)

What do you like best about the product?
Easy one clock searching for anyone or anything related to my company. Incredibly valuable to search across all of our various document and data storage, as well as a variety of other internal tooling.
My favorite feature is just looking up my coworkers and learning about them from Glean. I also like the tenure feature, and use it often as a motivational piece for people who don't realize just how tenured they are compared to the company as a whole.

What do you dislike about the product?
It makes me login to often and that is annoying. It also sometimes ranks stuff very highly in search returns that I think should be irrelevant / bottom of the list.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Glean makes it easy to find information within my company without having to search 10 different places. I am more productive because I can just type in "FY24 plan" and find all of the related documents people are drafting without me knowing :)
Amazing and intuitive with a lot more potential than meets the eye
What do you like best about the product?
Glean consolidates all our software and apps used within the org and helps search within that to get answers or files without clicking through unnecessarily. The search feature is also fairly intuitive as it recognises most used and most relevant information at the top.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only minor problem is the UI customisation and the ability to edit and change the layout if necessary. I would allow custom images for backgrounds as well as layout configurator.

When looking up files quickly or needing Slack or Zendesk message/articles, it helps save a lot of time and effort without going through pages of irrelevant information.
