The great flexible Customer Data Platform

What do you like best about the product?
This nice to use platform for orchestrating journeys and ingestion many data sources on a scale. I also like its user-friendly interface and the ability Action IQ team to resolve tasks with quick response.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it takes time when doing export.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ActionIQ helps us in data orchestration for our business purposes

What do you like best about the product?
If you're looking for a CDP that can manage the rats' nest of all the different ways that you split and send your customer data, this is a great tool for that. They offer color-coded tags to keep your audiences organized. Intuitive audience builder and export scheduler.
What do you dislike about the product?
If there are complex audiences that you need, it might be best to do it outside of the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing data files for e-mails and mailers. There are a lot of different audiences that my company utilizes and having ActionIQ reduces the amount of work I have to do with repeated sends and audience lookups.

Powerful and User-Friendly Platform with Great Service

What do you like best about the product?
ActionIQ excels in the area of marketing activation - giving users the power to identify and size segments of customers through custom criteria and activate these audiences through various marketing channels. Journeys and triggered campaigns through the Flight Plan module are also a strong feature and easy to set up. ActionIQ's support is also top-notch - the account and engineering teams are always quick to solve problems and to provide back-end support. PersonMatch, ActionIQ's customer consolidation engine, is strong and reliable and can be customized in certain useful ways. Overall, ActionIQ is a great CDP partner and has contributed substantially to the growth of our customer base and of our knowledge of our customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Coming from a data-focused, insights background, I would like to have a more direct access to data. The ability to see row-level data, even a sample of each table, would be a big help toward more efficiently and effectively creating variables and audiences. Additionally having a customer-lookup screen in which I could easily look up customer records/details would be valuable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most crucially, ActionIQ is doing daily consolidation of our customer records, which gives us a drastically improved picture of our customers and their behavior than when we were looking at data with potentially several disparate records per customer. Additionally, ActionIQ is helping us be more data-driven in our marketing, given we now can leverage transactional and site behavior to segment audiences and push them to various marketing channels. Our communications are becoming more targeted and relevant through ActionIQ.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
ActionIQ is a great CDP, excelling in customer consolidation and marketing activation; however, deeper analytics will need to be done outside the platform. Therefore, I recommend an analytics layer in addition to ActionIQ.

What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility of the platform has been amazing. From the IT standpoint - it has been extremely easy to support our company's marketing team with a powerful tool that lets them gather insights on customer behavior and actionable information to better target marketing campaigns. The Action IQ team themselves are incredibly responsive, and any issue we have faced has been quickly resolved by their team with creative and effective solutions tailor built to our needs.

It is extremely easy to manage with robust role based security and IP whitelisting to aide in keeping customer data secure.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only negative aspect we have yet to come across has been difficulty with our own data being incomplete or incorrect and not working well with the initial setup of the platform itself, but again, the Action IQ team was quick to find and implement a solution to these problems that kept us rolling and allowed us to realize value in our investment.

The only feature from the IT side that I wish would be implemented is SSO and MFA with Azure AD in addition to the IP whitelisting measures that are already in place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our retail company had severely fragmented data sources which required far more manual intervention than necessary to gain any insights and value from the customer data we did have. With Action IQ - we are able to pipe in data from every source and resolve multiple records for customers into a single record that is actionable and marketable.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I'd highly recommend any retail company looking for a CDP solution to strongly consider Action IQ and to engage their team to learn more about the product. They were a late addition in our initial search, and quickly blew the competition out of the water with the apparent ease of use and flexibility. A year into our partnership with Action IQ, I can firmly say that I still stand by the choice our team made today.
