RingEX: Easy to Use, Navigate, and Configure for a Small School
What do you like best about the product?
RingEX is very easy to use, navigate, and configure for our use case as a small school.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have any complaints about the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
RingEX allows our school to easily answer and route calls within a building with eight staff members.

Some of the admin config options are not intuitive and don't always make logical sense

It makes it easy for teams in different work environments—whether in the office or working remotely—to communicate smoothly and stay connected.
Reliable Call & Text Capture with Instant Email Alerts
What do you like best about the product?
It captures all calls and text and I receive an email any time someone does one of the 2

Not very user friendly as far as phone functions

Any calls that are missed I get an email and it also rings on my cell phone if I am out of the office
Effortless Phone Access, Stellar Support
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that with RingEX, I can answer the phones from our cell phones even when we're away from the office. I also find the application easy to use, especially when setting up new employees and extensions—it's quick and easy. Their customer support is excellent; they were very helpful when I needed to set up holiday hours. The initial setup was very easy, thanks to the lady who did our training and taught us well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Faxes do not always show properly on your cell phone. If the fax would open, you would at least know what it is about.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can answer phones even away from the office using our cell phones. RingEX is easy to use for setting up new employees and extensions quickly, and their customer support is excellent.
Effortless Communication Tool with Amazing Features
What do you like best about the product?
I find RingEX very easy to use, which is great for all our client communication within the office. The call notes and AI-transcribed notes are amazing and super useful, helping us ensure we don't miss anything important during and after calls, like action items or specific things said. Additionally, it allows us to easily transfer calls between members both in and out of the office. The initial setup was very easy for our team, and we were motivated to switch from regular office phones because of the 24-hour answering services offered.

I use RingEX for all client communication within the office. It allows us to easily transfer calls between members, provides amazing call notes and AI transcriptions, and ensures we don't miss action items or specific details from calls.
Feature-Rich, but Navigation and Support Feel Hard to Access
What do you like best about the product?
The myriad of features you are able to access.
What do you dislike about the product?
Things seem to be buried. I find myself having to call often for resources, and it appears the service rep is also looking up the answers from the support.ringcentral.com website, so it feels counter-productive to reach out to them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Routing Calls. The metrics are helpful to find pain points and be able to implement change as necessary.
Effective Communication Tool with Stellar Support
What do you like best about the product?
I like RingEX for their technical support, recording calls, and managing schedules for different users.
What do you dislike about the product?
The name ID on RingEX is too short, currently limited to just 15 characters, which isn't enough for our complete clinic name. Also, the initial setup was hard because some agents aren't specialized enough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
RingEX lets us reach third parties with shared numbers and supports call recording and scheduling, which were previously challenging.
Easy to Use with a Straightforward Admin Panel and Helpful Tech Support
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. Easy Admin panel. Good tech support when needed. Easy to add/change users. Straightforward fee structures. Easy to install and train new users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Texting charges are a little expensive. It would be nice if there wasn't a data/text limit on user texts, as it can get used up quickly in a large company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Office phone system that can be installed on remote working computers, by the users themselves. Very easy to set up and use, with minimal training required.
All-in-One RingEx: Phone, Messaging, Fax, Notes, and More in One Place
What do you like best about the product?
RingEx isn’t just a phone system; it’s also an internal messaging tool, a tracker, a fax solution, and a note-taker. There are so many great options to use, and it’s nice having all of these features in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the admin portal really confusing to use. It’s hard to figure out where to go to change features and other settings, and I often have to hunt around to find what I need. I really wish it were more user-friendly and easier to navigate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A single platform that works well for many different uses.
Smooth Client Communication, Exemplary Support
What do you like best about the product?
I like that RingEX makes it smooth and easy to text all of my clientele. The texting aspect is for sure my favorite, and I love that it's simple and easy to use. I've used a few other business phone services, and I truly love that RingEX offers texting because others have not. Additionally, I find their customer service great and quick to assist whenever there are bumps in the setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that sometimes RingEX marks my texts as spam. I wish it would allow similar texts to be sent out to multiple people without it flagging as spam.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
RingEX makes it smooth and easy to text all of our clientele, which was lacking in other business phone services. I use both the web and app versions seamlessly.
