I am frustrated by the UI glitches in Yext that sometimes prevent the web page from loading properly. It often takes several minutes or requires multiple refreshes to resolve the issue, which is the most frustrating aspect of the platform for me.

I use Yext to automate updates across platforms, making sure our store data is consistent on Google, Apple, etc., which saves manual effort for thousands of locations and aggregates data from multiple sources.

I find Yext incredibly valuable for ensuring consistency across various websites for Fry the Coop, as it enables us to maintain uniformity in information, such as business hours, without the hassle of updating each site individually. I love how easy it is to use, which enhances our efficiency. One of the most impressive features is the speed at which changes propagate across platforms; everything gets uploaded so quickly, including photos across platforms like Yelp, TripAdvisor, and Google. This rapid dissemination of information is crucial for our operations. The initial setup process was impressively quick and straightforward, complemented by the helpfulness of the staff, making the onboarding experience seamless. Overall, these features significantly streamline our management of online business information, making the product indispensable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to upload videos. I know that Google accepts videos to be uploaded to your page, but I have to go specifically on Google to upload videos because Yext doesn't accept MPV files.

I use Yext to ensure consistent information across websites, simplifying changes like business hours and enabling quick photo uploads, enhancing efficiency and ease of use.

Yext for Google Business Management

What do you like best about the product?
Yext is meant to help you with managing your Google business profiles. I like it most for doing a bulk update or announcement on a lot of profiles at once. That is the main feature I like. Also being able to add multiple drop off points for a location, such as for walking or pick up.
What do you dislike about the product?
Yext is very costly and I’ve found I still need to update and uploads to Google anyways. I sometimes am doing double work to make sure it’s done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps to bulk update some of or our provide profiles. We have 1500+ and they cannot all be on Yext, due to the cost.

What do you like best about the product?
Yext makes it simple to keep our business information consistent across multiple platforms. I like how intuitive the dashboard is and how quickly updates go live on Google, Facebook, and other major directories. The reporting and analytics features are also very helpful for tracking visibility and engagement. Overall, it saves a lot of time and ensures accuracy

The platform can feel a little overwhelming at first with the number of features available, and the pricing can be a bit high for smaller businesses. Some integrations take a little extra setup time. However, once you’re familiar with it, the benefits outweigh these challenges
