Great partners, quick implementation

What do you like best about the product?
Our organic pageviews are increasing every month, meaning more customers are finding us through the listings and pages we created using Yext. Having Yext has been a huge help in managing all of our individual entities as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Fully vet out each part of the solution, as we may have purchased a bit more than we needed (or were ready for) in our first phase. I would also highly recommend estimating your professional service hours ahead of time so you can set proper expectations for how you want to iterate and when. It is challenging to estimate those hours so we actually needed more than what we originally contracted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consistency across our individual entities online, and local SEO for our loan officers and branches. Yext has made it much easier to manage both!

What do you like best about the product?
The capabilities are endless and it's great having a streamline platform for our reviews for all locations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some glitches here and there, but that is with any platform.

Small things here and there, the support teams are what is really great.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the portal mechanic that this website operates with. We utilize Yext to manage reviews and communicate with customers via Yelp and Google My Business. This program allows us to not only view any incoming reviews, we are also able to see metrics and insights and map out the location of reviews that correspond to our franchise owners.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far this product is working to my satisfaction.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are working to manage and maintain the reviews our franchises receive. We use this information to communicate with their customers to maintain our brand reputation as well as resolve any customer issues. We are also able to provide overall performance reviews and franchise health.

Great automation and centralized resource

What do you like best about the product?
The Yext team is responsive to our needs and has built out API integrations for us to improve our automations for getting new properties listed quickly and to ensure updates are coming from our data set vs. random updates, or malicious updates from outside our organization.

Through our regular business reviews, we've been able to highlight more ways to maximize our investment in Yext and reduce the workload of internal teams on listings management and updates.
What do you dislike about the product?
For publishers where Yext does not have an API connection, updates take longer to make and are sometimes not in line with claims made on the ability to force through changes. ("We update this data everywhere" becomes "That publisher updates based on our data periodically.") Greater transparency over the specifics by publisher and country/region would help here.

Additionally, the fuzzy matching to find rogue or duplicate GMB listings can be improved. They find some of these but not all, especially when other businesses have been at the location/building prior to one of ours.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time to launch new properties has been improved and Yext support team is providing ongoing support to our franchise partners, reducing the corporate team's workload so we can focus on activities to grow the business.

What do you like best about the product?
I like having a relationship with our Yext support crew and the way that the platform streamlines all of my business listings.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that there seems to be frequent issues with google/apple maps listings showing the hours input to yext.

Great Platform and Support

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy Yext's support team and account managers that help us continue to stay up to date, provide field support, and keep us at the front of mind when new items launch. They helped us streamline the source of the truth across multiple platforms and provide up to date information for all of our customers looking for our stores and brands.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the 24 hour update period for online profiles, but not much that can be adjusted there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving an online awareness issue with up to date information for our customers spread across multiple platforms.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Yext is a great platform if you are managing multiple locations and information to help monitor and update with the latest information. Great experience with the teams in place and the support team is always happy to help.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that whenever I have questions, I can bug my rep and he's always quick to respond and either schedule a call to get more info or solve the problem right then and there.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike much. It's a pricey, albeit powerful, tool for a smaller company, I imagine. It's a no-brainer for a place with lots of locations, though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a problem with addresses being inconsistent across several directories and channels. Yext is super easy to use and update – even on a whim. For instance, many of our locations are in the southern U.S. and may experience sudden closures during hurricane season as regions are ordered to evacuate. Before, we would manually post across as many channels as possible and information may be conflicting. Now, we just log onto Yext and update temporary hours to show our customers that we're closed. We can even customize the message to explain it's for an evacuation. This helps our team tremendously so that we don't have to go back and edit old posts on social media. We always know our information on listings will be up-to-date!

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and the support team for questions and answers.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's definitely a costly service, but overall we see it as a good value add to our business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest issues we have is getting service areas up and running. The benefits we've seen are near instant updates across hundreds of locations which was very useful when COVID hit.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As long as you have the budget, Yext provides a great service.

What do you like best about the product?
The versatility of both location management and analytics in one site is super helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
When submitting tickets, items can sometimes get lost with the reps. Overall, they always come through though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to import over 1,000 locations, respond to reviews across Google and Facebook, and integrate APIs to work with our software.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The team at Yext is top-notch and super helpful. They are timely and help get our backlog cleared out as efficiently as possible.
