Veeam ONE is a very good management product. With Veeam, you can control the underlying virtualization environment, along with VMware and Hyper-V. So, the product works with tools from other vendors.

A good management tool that offers a very good technical support
What is our primary use case?
What is most valuable?
The fact that it can make very good reports on Veeam Backup is a valuable feature. It offers very flexible reporting.
What needs improvement?
Improvement is required in infrastructure control because it generates reports on the infrastructure.
It would be good. It could be extended with, for example, collecting data from storage devices because you have the environment, which includes servers and storage devices. So, it would be good to have such integrations. It should have the ability to collect data from storage devices.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Veeam ONE for a year and a half. My company is a reseller and partner of the solution.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
Stability-wise, I rate the solution a nine out of ten.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Scalability-wise, I rate the solution an eight or nine out of ten. Only three or four system administrators are using it.
How are customer service and support?
The technical support is very good, and I think it's one of the best. The response time is very quick.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
There are other products for virtualization, but not for Veeam. I don't know any other product that covers Veeam, VMware, and Hyper V.
How was the initial setup?
The solution's initial setup process is not very complex. The setup phase is not difficult. Creating reports is a bit difficult, and you have to spend some time on it.
What about the implementation team?
The implementation was done with the help of our in-house team.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
Veeam ONE is offered at a good price. Compared to its price, the functionality and features of the product are more important.
What other advice do I have?
Regarding the complexity of the processes in the solution, I would say that it is complex even though it is easy to solve. For a complex environment, I would definitely recommend the use of Veeam ONE. Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.
Great interface, great backup system!
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that it is seamlessly integrated with vmware vphere, that I can quickly save and restore virtual machines and individual files.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that I can't save individual files for several years. I have to necessarily save the whole virtual machine whole.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a product that would allow us to back up our virtual and physical machines. So we evaluated and chose Veeam Backup and Replication. We needed a product that would allow us to quickly restore virtual machines or restore individual files. Veeam met our needs.
Best Product in recent memory
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility of Veeam is what sold us. It can do anything, with most any hardware. The product is very easy to use and configure. The premium platform comes with DR orchestration as well and that was another selling point for us.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is still a new purchase for us, so we have yet to encounter something that we have not liked. Maybe the need for a 3rd party device to do immutable backups. But that can be overcome by doing your own Linux repo.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the need for VMWARE Site Recovery Manager. We no longer need licenses for that, with the built in DR orchestrator. It is also solving our previous lack of immutable backups.
Veeam ONE - One stop solution for all monitoring and reporting
What do you like best about the product?
We use it for backing up office 365 objects. This is one of our best selling products as a cloud service provider. We also use it for sql backups too
What do you dislike about the product?
If Veeam could have a tenant portal for backups, it would be great. We are a cloud service provider with hosted VMs. We use veeam to backup these vms, now if our customers request for a portal to view their backups, we dont have one as veeam currently doesnt support it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Veeam ONE to caculate bandwidth sizing for any DRaaS projects. This is vital to us before we even sign any contracts with the customer. The Veeam ONE suite is a great tool for monitoring and reporting
Veeam is an outstanding backup software
What do you like best about the product?
Veeam makes the backup process quite simple. Easy to configure and pickup without advanced knowledge ahead of time. You can also get more advanced with the configuration and use remote repositories and replication to backup the data to different sites and to disk for air gapped backups.
What do you dislike about the product?
The recent change in licensing model gives you more versatility since it switched to machine count instead of host, but frankly it appears to have been a cash grab more than anything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We utilize Veeam to do full server backups that we can replicate between our data centers. We are able to make these immutable to help protect against ransomware, and we are also able to copy these to disk so we can store these in air-gapped setup for another layer of protection.
Veeam B&R does the job
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to setup jobs for backup and restore.
What do you dislike about the product?
Restoring files from Cloud backup can be optimized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Veeam B&R saves our ass when data is missing.
Simple to use, and extremely reliable.
What do you like best about the product?
Veeam is incredibly simple to set up and configure. It has saved us several times when servers have either crashed, or had bad configs applied.
What do you dislike about the product?
We haven't seen many downsides to the product. I don't think I have ever had a machine fail to restore, and 99% of the time, it "just works".
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Veeam gives me peace of mind, knowing that I have redundant backups of all of our information in place, and that I can do file level restores.
Works without any problems

Veeam Backup & Replication is easy to configure and runs without any problems.

The software does no automatic patching.

It's solving the loss of data and helps you to stay calm.

nothing really. The pricing is up there, but you get what you pay for. I'd like them to include an all in one solution for offsite storage.

It securely backup my server and it places them off site. I'm able to have a local copy and a cloud copy

Veeam Backup and Replication has a well-structured and scalable architecture that covers simple to very complex environments. IT professionals can have affordable and secure backups, immutable backups, flexible and safe restore methods and the chance to migrate workloads across different platforms, such as on-premise physical servers to on-cloud virtual machines and many other combinations.
What do you dislike about the product?
The architecture on which Veeam Backup and Replication is built requires reading several hundreds of pages and following webinars and courses; it's costly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Veeam Backup and Replication make me feel safer, and I can sleep more serenely.
