Excellent solution for backup.
What do you like best about the product?
Really easy to use, even if you were not used. Good operating system, hypervisor and server compatibility (physical or virtual). Good technical assistance and time for response. Brand updates and new releases are updated continuously. Veeam has the best prices and affiliate services with other similar tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be interesting if Veeam could boost the reclamation process by low-level replication from snapshot to byte. Cloud connecting consoe works well, but for Cloud Service Providers, there are certain limitations, for example, if a cloud development environment is given to a private cloud client and they need a DRP at other location in a region, cloud connecting enables the client to see all the locators behind the service provider's hypervisor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Veeam offers reliable backup on our servers. You can save the server, backup a SQL server, and choose the DB you want to restore instead of the whole server if you need to rebuild it. It's very easy to use and everybody knows how it works.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want quick backup management, you need to use Veeam software. Thanks to productivity, solidity and easy to use, I do not lose sleep at night. I strongly advise that this product be introduced.
Excellent software for backing up small and medium infrastructures
What do you like best about the product?
It is extremely simple to configure yet very powerful, allowing you to schedule backups and file or entire server replications quickly and effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface is partially ambiguous in defining the scheduling of incremental and differential backups. Improve this detail to avoid errors in the configuration of the scheduling.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I tested Veeam and subsequently put it into production for several months. The restore has always been simple and perfectly functional.

Veeam is definitely an excellent solution for creating a backup infrastructure in an autonomous, fast, powerful, and reliable way. Moreover, it is really simple and intuitive to manage.
The Easiest Backup Software for Enterprises
What do you like best about the product?
Veeam Backup and Replication have the most easiest user interface among the software of its category. It is also a very reliable backup solution, which enables users to backup and restore files with ease, very little time period
What do you dislike about the product?
There are not many things to dislike about Veeam, the only thing i can think which needs improvement is the reporting feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a software which could replicate virtual machines between our main data center and our DR site. Veeam not only does that but also excels in backup and restoration. With easiest of interfaces in this segment of software, it has reduced the complexity and time required for backups and restoration.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is great application for its designated use, with lower cost. at least have a P.O.C before deciding your solution.
Simple and affordable Backup software
What do you like best about the product?
In my experience I found Veeam Backup and Replication a software very simple to setup and use. It's possible to configure the backup on disk pool or also on LTO tape pool in a very easy way, and the recovery is absolutely affordable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some little details on the user interface are not so clear. A more verbose quick log would be very appreciated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Veeam was very useful in some cases on wich the restore was absolutely necessary for single files or entire VMs.

For novel users could be a bit difficult the setup process.

Backup at 2 sites and then replicating that data. This product is very strong at all of these functions and also creating retention policies

it's a complete tool to manage all your backup and restore procedures

sometimes the tapes jobs are not working well. In my opinion the tape infrastructure section needs to be enhanced.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it's a great system that centralize all backup technologies in your company. thejobs are scriptable and the notifications make me always sure of what's going on with my backups.
