Exceptional Control and Compliance for MDM Needs
What do you like best about the product?
The level of control it provided over our ecosystem, along with the up-to-date policies available for all operating systems, made Maas360 an excellent choice for our MDM requirements. Our main use was for managing Android Workspace and MacBook devices. Additionally, we appreciate the metrics dashboard, which offers a clear overview of our device environment and supports our compliance efforts.
What do you dislike about the product?
We primarily used MaaS360 for MacBooks, but found that its support for the latest MacBook operating systems was lacking. As a result, we decided to stop using MaaS360 and went with a different solution. On the other hand, its support for Android devices and operating systems was excellent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a remote-first company, we found that Maas360 simplified the process of deploying laptops and mobile devices to our employees. The app discovery portal enabled our team members to quickly access and install the applications they need to begin working. Additionally, we relied on it for managing policy updates and ensuring compliance across all our laptops and mobile devices.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about IBM MaaS360 is how easy it is to onboard devices, the clean and straightforward dashboard, and the strong security features—especially the Secure Container that keeps corporate data separate from personal data. I also appreciate how well it integrates with other services and how it lets me manage different device types in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about IBM MaaS360 is that the interface can feel a bit outdated in some areas, and certain settings are buried, so it takes extra clicks to find what I need. Some features also feel slower or less polished compared to other MDMs, and the customization options can be limited. Plus, the reporting tools aren’t always as flexible as I’d like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IBM MaaS360 helps me solve several key problems: managing multiple devices consistently, keeping corporate data secure, and making sure everything stays compliant. It gives me a centralized place to control apps, policies, and security settings across different platforms. This benefits me by saving time, reducing manual work, and giving me more visibility and control over the devices in my environment.

The solution enables IT administrators to efficiently deploy new devices to employees, applying policies, automating app installations, and enforcing compliance rules. Device exchanges during employee turnover are handled swiftly. The platform also provides clear visibility into all devices, along with the ability to take actions such as changing policies, locking devices, or even wiping them if necessary.

What do you like best about the product?
IBM MaaS360is very good at managing multiple devices from a single console, it reports threats proactively, provides various security features like containerization, and mainly it manages various platforms including iOS, Android, and Windows.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are two things i dislike about this product: the user interface is outdated and updates take longer than necessary.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main thing i like about IBM Maas360 is that it solves managing cross platform endpoint management like android, ios, desktop. Apart from this, its security features like containerization and built-in threat detection to protect sensitive data are my go to features which are benefiting me.

The interface can feel a bit outdated and takes time to get used to especially for new users. Reporting is detailed but not very flexible if you want custom dashboards. Sometimes there’s a slight delay in device status updates, which means you have to refresh manually to see the latest changes

What do you like best about the product?
What I most appreciate about IBM MaaS360 is that it has a centralized dashboard that allows me to manage all devices in one location, OS independent. The Watson AI-powered alerts are extremely useful, providing context and solutions rather than warnings, and the secure container segregates corporate data from personal data on BYOD devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike about IBM MaaS360 is that the interface, especially on the mobile app, can feel a bit dated, and loading detailed reports can be slow at times. For new users, the wide range of settings and options might also feel overwhelming in the beginning.

The documentation may be more detailed, especially due to the extended configuration. Additionally, there may be delays or sync questions regarding app offerings through the platform.
