MaaS360 is good for mobile devices management, but there is a lot of room for improvement

How to keep track on all your business devices
What do you like best about the product?
What I like about IBM MaaS360 Mobile Device Management is that it simplifies the management of mobile devices by providing visibility and control over the company's smartphones and tablets. What is really great is that the software supports devices such as iPhones, iPads, Android, and Windows phones. Be aware that it depends on the versions, but they are not all compatible! According to the software manufacturer's website, MaaS360 Mobile Device Management offers the following features and benefits: Quick enrollment of mobile devices to streamline configuration and deployment. Integration with enterprise systems to leverage existing IT investments for mobile devices. Centralized management to provide complete visibility and control of mobile devices in your network. Compliance and security to help protect your devices and data. Monitoring and reporting to track, diagnose, and resolve issues related to devices and users.
What do you dislike about the product?
My friends and I have some small synchronization problems between the base and the devices, which is quite annoying. As mentioned above, it depends on the version of the OS. Indeed, on Mac OS, also known as lousy PCs, it is difficult to synchronize everything, especially with the latest versions like OS El Capitan. Sometimes, when I log out of my user session, the connection becomes unstable. Maybe it comes from my computer, which is no longer up to date in terms of its components. (Driver problem?)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thanks to this solution, I know in real time where my devices are and all the settings are synchronized. Better than iCloud!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Keep moving forward!
Easy to use, much better than other options
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, interface is simple. I would recommend this to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a pain if you have e-mails going to different folders within the inbox, as I have to set all of those up separately.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
remote e-mail, this product helps it all work well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a good large scale option
Excellent Customer Service and reliable product
What do you like best about the product?
This MDM worked with practically no resource footprint in our environment; one service on one server. It was reliable but as we explored and didn't understand how to do something support was there to help quickly. The product just plain worked which is what we wanted. We had iPhone and Android and setup on either was a breeze and there was no getting around using the security we had in place. We tried and employees tried but never succeeded.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the course of over 2 years we had to manually kick the cloud extender service inside our environment probably 10 times. The service would be running but not working. Thankfully the phones all worked through such times; we only noticed the issue when we couldn't add an additional phone. Not a dealbreaker.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Email is secure and ease of use was met. In some ways we had too easy of a goal to meet but we didn't have complaints from techs or staff about the product and that is significant.
Nice mobile management suite
What do you like best about the product?
The company I was working for at the time of using this suite had a majority of iOS devices which in this case were iPads, with a select amount of Android tablets here and there. My focus was on the iPad sector so I don't have too much experience with Android. The suite had a nice interface for providing remote administration through their web client on the computer, and as long as the client had the MaaS360 mobile app installed, I was able to push files and group policies to the iPad for whatever needed to be rolled out.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had also tested the MaaS360 computer management set of tools, and at this time it was in beta so I'm not sure if it has improved now or not, but it would only work if the computer had a single login account. If this was a domain computer that had multiple logins, when you logged out of one account then the MaaS360 program would log out as well, and the new user would have to manually initiate the program on their account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the main benefits we liked about this suite was the ability for security on the iPads. For example, say a rep forgot their passcode, I could remote into the iPad's settings and reset it for them and give them a temporary passcode. Also, what if they forgot their iPad on location or lost it entirely, I could also go in and reset the iPad to factory settings if requested, and also turn Find my Device on as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a platform that can provide you with administrative functions for an iOS mobile device, then this is your suite. It's a great company with excellent support, and you can't go wrong with them!
MaaS360
What do you like best about the product?
Simple and easy for end users (generally transparent from their perspective) and good admin tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Good product and solved core needs. Nothing materially negative.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Standardizing policies across user base without materially impacting productivity of IT staff
Great MDM Solution
What do you like best about the product?
Maas360 is a cloud based only MDM solution that is supported across every platform. It has a very east set up process for end users and is fairly priced amoungst its compeitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
I frequently change my mind on if I like corporate e-mail on my phone. If I want to get Maas360 off my my phone I need to do a factory reset or get a new phone which is normally what I end up doing :-)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MDM
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Decide if you are looking for a cloud based, on-prem, or Hybrid solutions. If cloud based is what you want Maas360 is a great place to start.
