MaaS360 great MDM!

What do you like best about the product?
The MaaS360 portal is very user friendly. If we publish a policy it is almost instantly pushed to the devices and the support from IBM is great.
The portal is easy to set up and easy to upgrade to another license model.
If you are unable to resolve an issue or have questions about your configuration there is no issue either. Where other vendors are having problems with their support is MaaS360 not facing these issues at all.
On the support page you can follow your own tickets and contact the support engineers. If the support engineers are unable to resolve your issue they will escalate it to the development team.

Overall: The support is great and the portal itself is very user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficult tickets might take a while to resolve. Other than that i don't see any downsides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MaaS360 is helping us and our customers to manage our/their devices.
With this we are able to give the users the applications and configurations they need to do their work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give MaaS360 a try. It is worth it to ask IBM for the free MaaS360 trial.
The MaaS360 admin portal is very user friendly and enrollment on devices is done within minutes.

What do you like best about the product?
Having used a variety of MDM products in the past I’ve come to the conclusion that mass has the best mix of features with ease-of-use and functionality features much richer than rival products
What do you dislike about the product?
There is really only a few downsides I find the ease of use of some of the features could be better but as is the nature with this kind of software it’s a mix of form and function I’m sure this is an ongoing adjustment from IBM
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to manage a mobile infrastructure much better in one tool than it has been possible in the past with a variety of other products
Recommendations to others considering the product:
best mix of features with ease-of-use and functionality features much richer than rival products

What do you like best about the product?
Fanststic help setting it up dureing the free trial period so we were ready to roll it out swiftly
What do you dislike about the product?
Allowing access to the phones in built apps in kiosk wasnt very intuitive
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Device managment, no more dats wasted on unathorised use or apps

What do you like best about the product?
As an operator customer reselling MaaS360 the product is easy for our end-customers to install and use.
It is feature rich combining capability normally associated with different products. As it is cloud based it automatically updates all it's customers to the latest version.
What do you dislike about the product?
Have not identified specific deficiencies at this point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mobile Device Management
Data expense control on mobiles
Mobile threat management
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider your business requirements for device management across all device types: smartphones, tablets, laptops etc - MDM/MAM, threat management, data control. Would one solution meet all of these requirements.
What kind of in-life management do you envisage, i.e. who is going to day-to-day manage the MDM deployment. Would Watson have a beneficial role in this?
Consider your current LAN environment.
1.Are you happy to utilise a cloud based solution?
2. Are there other specific IT capabilities (e.g. SSO) you would like to enable?

What do you like best about the product?
Policies are easy to change and quick to take effect. Also the policy options are quite extensive, so lots of options ot play wiith.

Users are easily added and edited.

Tracking users with mapping.
What do you dislike about the product?
Software has caused occasional glitches where users either are logged out, forced out of kiosk mode or I even had one user fully de-register from Maas360.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Compartmentalising the phone has been a brilliant tool, giving user only what they need to work with no distractions. Also obviously any changes to this can be altered simply, quickly and remotely.

I have not found anything to dislike about this software
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were trying to contain and prevent confidential information escaping in the timing of employee termination. This software allows us to control this by turning off company owned software upon employee termination
