What do you like best about the product?
The Unified Endpoint Management suite is compatible for integration with IBM SIEM QRadar Incident Forensics, Log Manager, Vulnerability Manager, Network Insights, UBA, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The complex training for Security professionals of IBM MaaS UEM.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
An integrated product helps in the correlation of data points, facts, conclusions arriving quite rapidly to a practical solution for the issue at hand.

Much needed functionality and control over our growing mobile phones

What do you like best about the product?
We have a diverse staff, office-based and out in the community, with a range of skills with IT/phones. IBM MaaS360 will help us to more effectively monitor phone use, and thereby provide more effective support to our service users (people with learning disabilities). It will help us manage our resources more effectively, and meet data protection obligations.
What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest I don't find the interface very intuitive - little things like, for example, when adding an app ID, it isn't immediately obvious how to 'add' - the plus sign is above the field. The layout seems awkward and difficult to distinguish sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saving money on staff going over their data allowance, managing the apps allowed through the policy - which is really very useful. Essentially keeping track of who has what phone, and therefore who is accountable for its use. Ensuring we are effectively protecting our own data and crucially, that of our service users.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This software provides amazing functionality and is exactly what we need. I haven't found the interface that user-friendly though. We've had practical issues with implementation which have a lot to do with the dispersed nature of our work, but getting a handle on the software has been slow. Our most recent experience of traning with IBM support staff was very positive however, and I'm hopeful we can move forward more quickly from this point.

What do you like best about the product?
intuitive product, neat and very friendly screens, easy-to-execute settings, without neglecting protection, security and privacy. excellent IBM support, skilled technicians and impeccable customer service, always available.
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes too slow in deploying policies, often the change of groups and the consequent change of policy is too cumbersome and slow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
complete and detailed management of android systems, excellent kiosk mode, security and protection hardening

Expert support made our job much easier!

What do you like best about the product?
We were able to establish weekly meetings for one hour with the SME who provided training. We were also thrilled that he would work within our environment via WebEx so that our specific implementation was answered, not a generic image.
What do you dislike about the product?
Follow up to tickets entered in on-line. Without our SME's (Frank Gentile) cajoling sometimes it would take an unreasonable time frame to hear from someone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Control of our Mobile mixed environment. We now feel that our company's intellectual property is safe and can be rendered useless or removed entirely when broken, lost, stolen etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think integration with Android (Google) and Apple should be more streamlined. However, I think both companies need to work on it not just IBM.

Some of the device reaches are a little misleading.

Control of Corporate-owned devices is the main goal.

Great solution for managing devices

What do you like best about the product?
It supports any kind of mobile device and has a wide range of settings for many types of businesses starting from office workers to hotel guests and staff.
What do you dislike about the product?
Login security is quite tight but has been better lately for us. Still requires password inputs in places not necessary to us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Made it easier to manage our mobile devices remotely and much lower costs to manage than without. The more time passes the better the interface has become. We hope to have full 100% control of our devices in the future.

What do you like best about the product?
The people at MaaS360 were outstanding, the training and guidance we received were top notch.
The project went extremely well.
What do you dislike about the product?
No real problems at all. Everything has gone very well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NO problems. The new software is very simple to use and the website is intuitive, quite refreshing compared to what we were used to.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't hesitate, the system works well and the support is outstanding.

What do you like best about the product?
Quick response times on the chat. albeit is a little bit difficult to understand how this now links with O2.

When IBM help on chat, they are great.
What do you dislike about the product?
inconsistency with support & who will help - some are very quick to help, and others less so & are reluctant to.
Ticketing case system is slow for replies and seems to lack expertise
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
just quick to put me through to 360 support

What do you like best about the product?
Once you've spent time on configuration, regsitering devices is pretty easy and provides us with some peace of mind in an environment where people can be very careless about their I.T life.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some configuration quirks, where different platforms allow different controls. It's difficult to restrict and Android device in the same way as an iOS device, for instance. I don't know if that's simply because of the difference in the Operating systems, so I'm not really pointing the finger at MaaS360!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Encouraging staff to be GDPR compliant has been challenging - we have used MaaS360 to kerb a few bad habits as well and make sure we're covering all the legal bases. MaaS360 is the only platform we've used that can manage all the devices we encounter.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
From our use of it, it certainly ticks a lot of boxes when it comes to device security and dealing with theft/loss.

Was hoping to have certs managed for Macbooks for secure wifi. Functionality wasn't what we were looking for

Currently using only a fraction of the product. Good peace of mind being able to remotely wipe handsets
