Easy way to cut the cloud bill!
What do you like best about the product?
The set it and forget it type of software. So easy a non-tech users are able to enable machines on demand. It is quick and easy to spin up and shutdown machines during non peak times or usage. Out cloud environment isn't large but the costs were starting to show up on reports and people askign questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile app could use some work - logs out every time I want to use it and not as easy to use as you like. I would love to see a mobile interface that allows for me on the road to be able to flip on and off machines without any more work then the touch of one button.
Scheduling doesn't account for Holidays. Wish I could set multiple scheduled for the same device with items like holidays being accounted for.
Also wish pricing could be more of a fixed fee for so many machines vs per machines. It does pay for itself but is hard to explain to non tech users how it moves from the right hand to the left hand; then some to the pocket.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem was high cloud bills and ParkMyCloud decreased it by a 1/3. It was shocking to see how much it was savings us month right from month ONE. The monthly savings pay for a year of service and is very easy for user to turn machines on and off on demand.
Simple, efficient, cost-saving tool
What do you like best about the product?
ParkMyCloud has been a great way for my company to save money spent on cloud because we were able to use the ParkMyCloud App to schedule specific times when our cloud instances would be running. This reduces the need for us to run 24/7 and has therefore reduced our monthly run-costs significantly. There’s no need to create functions and scripts, which means that anybody can operate it due to the simple user interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a dislike as such, but there is room for improvement - as I would like ParkMyCloud to be much more analytical, insightful and pro-active in helping me to manage my cloud estate and keep costs as low as possible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As mentioned above, the problems we have solved relate to reducing the need to run our cloud infrastructure at full capacity 24x7. Easier management through ParkMyCloud has enabled us to achieve significant infrastructure cost savings.
Super easy scheduling for cost savings
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to see all my instances and databases in one place as well as manage them all is brilliant. Love being able to override a schedule for a set time, I don't have to worry about going back and resetting the override.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some resources don't update, so it shows loading even though the resource is up/down already
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Me and my team use it to schedule downtimes for all environments other than production. This leads to significant cost savings over a year.

Simple, intuitive user experience that even the least technical of people could understand and mange resources effectively.

The product is not available for all services offered on AWS.

Saving money by shutting down non-production hardware in off business hours.

When you set an override it still controls the instance by forcing it on. I would like an override that doesn't alter the instance state at all, it is simply overridden and no action will be taken by PMC in that time

We have loads of AWS instances that are not always in use or only in use during business hours. Saved tons of money parking those instances.

There's a free tier I use for my personal work. Great place to get your feet wet.
Very functional. easy to use. I was able to easily mange AWS and Gcloud.

Simple interface and clean interface super easy to use. It was very easy to sort and group machines.

Can't really think of anything not to like right now.

Save the hassle of writing shutdown or startup scripts. Super simple and easy to use.

I enjoy the ease of the website, it is very user friendly and easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not a fan of the price point, sometimes it can be hard justifying the price but it is definitely worth it in the end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've managed to cut my budget by a lot using park my cloud, sometimes it's a hassle to turn on and off my servers but with park my cloud it's so easy I have no issue turning on and off and scheduling on the fly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use ParkMyCloud if you're trying to simplify and cut your IT budgets, it's so easy to use I don't know why anyone would not do it. It makes life so easy in this department
Great Platform For Automating Tasks

The simplistic and easy to use platform.

I dislike the lack features that it has compared to things you’re capable of doing on cloud platforms like AWS, GCLOUD, AZURE etc

For basic overall control of your cloud platform it’s great for automating tedious tasks that you might be doing manually.
