Love how it stores all the applicants, and it also makes my job easier. Provides a detailed assessment.

So far there is nothing that I dislike. It has functioned well.

What do you like best about the product?
Many people are afraid to complete a reference. With Skill Survey, all the responses are confidential. The references feel more comfortable speaking honestly regarding people that have worked for them. We have found the responses to be very helpful in determining if someone will be a good fit for our company and the culture.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of any negatives. We use the site for both references and sourcing potential future hires.

Fast and easy way to get references on potential hires. Low cost and requires very little time from our HR team.

Automation and efficiency for a bottle neck in the recruiting process.
Great resource, saves time and improves insight
What do you like best about the product?
It's user friendly for staff, the reference seeking employee and the reference giver. It saves time for staff and makes it easy to view responses and gain in depth insight for candidates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning curve can be tough for some administrators but wasn't an issue for me personally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reduced staff but increased need to call references, this saves time and makes our work more efficient. Staff works daytime hours but the references we are trying to reach are often available at night so this helps us reach people when its convenient for them, which helps us too.

Ask questions, they can almost always do what you are thinking of, and if not they are open to making changes.

What do you like best about the product?
My company switched from Hire by Google to iCIMS and its been a godsend. iCIMS has full integration of supporting HR software (SparkHire, Docusign etc) which makes the hiring process and candidate experience very seamless.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of capabilities in iCIMS, but it's hard to learn all of it without the proper training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to one system in the HR/recruitment process. Previously, I would need to have multiple tabs and systems running.

Highly recommend this software as the sole HR tool for a business.

What do you like best about the product?
It was very easy to use and understand. It guided me through the program very easily. I also liked that it gave you the opportunity to write your own strengths and weaknesses for the person I was referencing . They specified that this information would be made confidential.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I tried to do it on my phone, I had a call come in and I lost all my information that I had put in. So I just did it on my pc and then it worked great and I had no trouble.!

I did a job reference for a colleague. It went very smooth and was very easy to use. I like that they sent reminders and follow ups so that you knew what to do.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a very good program. There is very thorough. I did it as a reference. There is a letter that you receive from the person you are referencing. It directs you right to the link for the reference survey. They give you opportunities to write specific details. SkillSurvey is very user friendly! I would highly recommend it to any company.

Love that it's all electronic and no more phone calling references and playing phone tag.
What do you dislike about the product?
The system makes you send out a notification when you don't hire someone but yet still a viable candidate. Our candidates already receive a notification thru our main ATS and it's like pouring salt in the wound. We should be able to select whether or not we want to send a notification once the process is done. Sometimes it can be a little difficult searching job titles when they don't match exactly.

What do you like best about the product?
That I do not need to call and contact references myself. Everything is a seamless online process.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice If I could tailor or add some questions myself depending on the position.

The feedback received from the references are helpful both to management and HR.
