Valuable Insight for Selection
What do you like best about the product?
SkillSurvey allows employers access to a library of role/skill based surveys which helps Hiring Managers to gain insight into their Candidates abilities, strengths & weaknesses.
What do you dislike about the product?
The number of rated questions as opposed to the number of questions that allow Raters to expand more behavior based instances.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The specialized surveys provide a better understanding of a Candidates' behavior, character traits and work habits in their previous/current roles that assist our Hiring Managers in their employee selection and provide more assurance that they know exactly who they are hiring.
Efficient and accurate
What do you like best about the product?
Skillsoft provides the most efficient means to gather reliable reference checks. The response rate of reference checks has increased significantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Skillsoft has it set up so it can look like the email to a proposed reference is coming from the candidate if it is not read carefully - it can cause some confusion. There may be a way to make that communication clearer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lack of responses and inaccurate feedback due to risk aversion

What do you like best about the product?
I like that results are back quickly and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once you finalize and want another reference I cant finalize the report until I get a certain number of references to be completed on the report.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SkillSurvey has made my job easier by not having time to call every single reference.
Quick and Efficient
What do you like best about the product?
Our team likes the fact that we can monitor activity. I personally like the fact we can track IP addresses as well. We also love that our candidates can monitor the progress so that they feel like they are more included in the process. Transparency is always what we aim for and this helps with that. Also, the customer service has been so quick to respond. We have had to contact support twice to see if there were any recommendations for a certain position. I sent over the job description and within the day received two surveys to choose from. We used the recommended one for this search and it worked out well.
What do you dislike about the product?
We don't dislike anything so far, however, we have only used it for 3 searches so far. We have had to alter the canned response email to the candidates quite a bit due to confusing the candidate a bit. I don't like the audit feature to where we have to put a reason for our edits each time. Sometimes we just change a word or two so I don't bother filling that out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By editing the email templates, we are able to make the skillsurvey process more reflective of our team. I like how we can edit quickly to support the needs of that specific search. We have noticed that we receive references much quicker than we did before. As we are working on our DEI efforts, this is helping eliminate certain biases with the averaging out the scores. We love this feature!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be as transparent as you can in the email to the candidates. Submitting references is already stressful enough for them. SkillSurvey is an easy and efficient tool so help your candidate understand that!
Ease of Use and Very Professional
What do you like best about the product?
I like the easy access, simple process, and quick responses I get when using this system. I find that it is also fantastic for retrieving past information/items.
What do you dislike about the product?
As is with many online systems, sometimes the process of "getting in" can be a real drag. But that does not override the ease of use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am now able to share information across the board with multiple divisions of my company, from HR to Supervisors with great ease. I find that the files are easy to download and share, as well. It has quickened the process for bringing in new providers/applicants
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This product allows for ease in managing large amounts of data and information. It is secure and it is reliable. It provides consistency across all realms.

I love the reminders that are sent out to both the candidate and the entered reference.

There is nothing I dislike about SkillSurvey
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I benefit from the clear, concise and easy to understand feedback reports
References back in less than a day!
What do you like best about the product?
We used to have to wait days to get references back and spent more man hours calling. We now get responses in less than a day and the reports look beautiful with our custom branding.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really is not anything we dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a more secure way of checking references. It also looks better and more professional to our Clients and it shows that security and accuracy is important to us.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You will see a huge improvement in the time you are spending chasing references. It is easy to use and the finished product is very professional. The Customer Service of this Company is stellar. They continue to improve the platform and offer training on a continuous basis.
Awesome Reference TOOL
What do you like best about the product?
It's so easy to use. I like how seamless and how easy it is to use for the end user.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any negative thing to say about this system.

Checking how good the applicant is before starting based on the feedback of their peers and managers.

What do you like best about the product?
SkillSurvey collects reference data in a manner that is objective and convenient for all involved. It then reports on the data providing useful insights based on the feedback collected.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice if the email templates in the system were more customizable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improved the quality of reference feedback collected and saved time by not having to hunt references down for phone calls.
Skill Survey for references
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to email my references the questionnaire giving them a higher chance to actually complete the questionnaire
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont like the fact that we have to finalize a report in order to look at the reference. We can still recv more references for the same client but we would have to finalize the report after every reference recv'd

Being able to give our references another mean of completing the questionnaire
