What is our primary use case?

I use Gupshup mainly for sending automated messages and WhatsApp reminders to my patients for upcoming appointments and follow-ups. Gupshup is used for sending automated WhatsApp and SMS messages to my patients for more efficient time management.

What is most valuable?

The main and best feature of Gupshup is that I can easily integrate APIs and start sending automated messages to my patients via different channels such as WhatsApp and SMS.

Sending timely reminders to patients about upcoming appointments and follow-ups has positively impacted my organization by reducing the intervention required by the clinical staff who work within the clinic, saving their time, as well as saving the time of the reception staff, which can be utilized more efficiently. This also helps in saving money because I can focus on my work instead of answering patient calls and SMS.

I have saved a considerable amount of money since using Gupshup because all operations are now automated. I do not have to pick up calls from patients just to remind them about when they have to come or what the date is. I do not have to call patients for follow-ups as it is all done by Gupshup. This saves a significant amount of money and time, and while I cannot give the exact figure, it is a considerable amount of money and time.

What needs improvement?

Gupshup needs improvement because the setup part could be more user-friendly. I required some technical support to set up, and customer support is also not very responsive, so the customer support needs to be more user-friendly and respond more promptly.

Gupshup can improve by making the interface more clean so I can easily track performance, and customer service needs to be better and more user-friendly.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Gupshup for the last eight to ten months.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Gupshup is a quite stable and reliable tool for automating WhatsApp SMS and regular SMS.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Gupshup is highly scalable and can handle a large volume of messages at any given point in time.

How are customer service and support?

Customer support was a little bit on the average side and could be better, as the response from customer support takes time. I would rate customer support around seven out of ten.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

I did not use any other solution before Gupshup, as Gupshup was the first solution I implemented.

What about the implementation team?

Integrating the APIs with my clinic's system was easy. With a little technical support and technical knowledge from the support team, it was easy to configure the system, and the integration of the API was very smooth and was done easily.

What was our ROI?

I have seen a return on investment because a lot of time is saved for my clinical staff as they do not have to receive calls or call patients for upcoming appointments or follow-ups, and they do not have to always be present on WhatsApp to remind patients or answer messages about upcoming appointments. This saves a lot of time, and this time can be used elsewhere, such as in doing clinical practice, which saves time and increases productivity, helping in earning more money.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The experience with pricing is a pay-per-use model that depends upon how many reminders are sent via SMS or WhatsApp. If there are more SMS or WhatsApp reminders going out, they will charge more, and if less, then they will charge less, which is a fair model. Licensing was quite straightforward, and the setup was also smooth with some technical support.

Which other solutions did I evaluate?

I checked out Wati for WhatsApp Business, but in the end, I selected Gupshup.

What other advice do I have?

I can use the performance feature of Gupshup where I can get a detailed report on how many patients received the reminder and how many of them responded to the reminder. If there is an upcoming campaign, I can promote it on Gupshup, such as if there is any free dental checkup or if I am offering some discounts on some treatment, and I can also track those campaigns through Gupshup.

Gupshup is a straightforward pay-as-you-use model and a reliable tool that really helps to increase my productivity and save time, making it necessary for any business, whether small or large.

Gupshup is a good and reliable tool that can be used in my day-to-day practice, and it really helps to save time and money. I would rate my overall experience with Gupshup as an eight out of ten.

Complete Functionality and Intuitive Integration for Bot Management

What do you like best about the product?
Gupshup offers an excellent variety of features for creating and managing bots, with strong integration on WhatsApp and other channels. The interface is intuitive and the learning curve is relatively quick. The documentation is clear and customer support responds in reasonable time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some advanced features still require a bit of technical work to be configured optimally. Additionally, the administration interface could be made more modern and faster, especially when managing complex projects.

The platform has simplified the management of multichannel communications, reducing response times to customers and improving the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

What do you like best about the product?
I have used 2-3 wa service providers, including gupshup. but the gupshup UI felt different.. as a indian user its very easy and convenient to use domestic service providers and gupshup is one of the great option of it. their customer support is always on time. if any things breaks directly from meta's end then gupshup team proactively looking with them and helping us on real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I mostly use this platform for whatsapp template approval, sometime when I create the new template and refresh the page then the new created templates take a time to reflect on list section.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gupshup is really easy to use, their real time support help us to solve problems and integration new APIs on real time. also their pricing is also convenient. so if I look at overall level gupshup is one of the great vendor which help us for our journey of growth.

Gupshup has wide variety of features covering different use cases which will help in address 1 CBP, different templates, Chatbots, SMS, RCS, Email etc

UI/UX could be a lot better and ease of dashboard usage

WhatsApp is the key channel, it helped us a lot in able to promote and market our content better the chatbot flow helped us a lot in understanding what is needed for customers and it was seamless to build bot flows and running campaigns.
