Managing Apple Products the Less Frustrating Way
What do you like best about the product?
We have access to all of our machines, as long as they're online, whether connected on premises, via VPN, and everywhere else in between. Jamf gives a robust infrastructure that we use to provide stellar service to our customers
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much I dislike. I'm still learning the software, but there's a wealth of support from Jamf and their community. If I don't know how to do something, Jamf's community is always glad to help
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We transitioned easily, and very successfully to remote work in 2020. Jamf helped our Mac side of the house outshine and outpace the Windows side. Our Macs work, communicate well, and are consistently available thanks to the Jamf infrastructure.
Great way to unlock the full potential of managing mac and ios
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use. The IC is extremely user friendly and it's fairly intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like securetoken management. More robust update management as well
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Looking after a fleet of 500 macs and 150 iOS devices.
One of the best MDM tools and communities out there.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and deploy things and do rapid prototyping. In addition though you get wonderful integrations such as the InTune connectivity and office configuration profiles. One big one we're loving is the integration with other Jamf products as we add them on.
What do you dislike about the product?
We'd love to see more third party configuration profiles in the library that Jamf seems to be building out. Somewhat limited to Google, Jamf and Microsoft apps at the moment but not a dealbreaker for us at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zero Touch provisioning, IPad deployments to doctors in our hospitals as well as iPhones with eSIM to our users out in the field. Ext up is our version 2.0 of zero touch
Best MDM imho
What do you like best about the product?
Jamf pro makes it super easy to manage multiple mac's across a big org. Best UI experience
What do you dislike about the product?
I guess not too many apps are integrated in the built in app update repository
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jamf pro is solving the problem of managing multiple machines across the globe. It's not easy and jamf makes it easy
JAMF Review

JAMF solved all my management needs.
Sent from the Heavens
What do you like best about the product?
It's pretty easy to use, and has worked incredibly with helping steamline our management and deployment processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
May be nitpicking, but some "feature comforts" of the UI can feel clunky. For example, the back button doesn't always work, or having multi select in some areas would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
App deployment has been HUGE.
JAMF Pro in Higher Ed
What do you like best about the product?
Jamf Pro has made it easy to manage and deploy apple workstations in a higher Ed university setting. I am able to track inventory, push packages, and run important policies to keep my CISO happy. I especially like the Extended Attributes so I can run custom scripts to gather even more information about the devices across the university. This has been extremely helpful narrowing down which computers/laptop can upgrade to the latest OS, and which devices should be surplus as they no longer will be supported by Apple. Makes staying in a supported state much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Main issue is JAMF is mainly for Apple, but definitely not a bad thing. Would have been nice to have cross platform options for windows devices over the same MDM.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mass deployment of software to all our manage devices. Currently working towards SSO and close to zero-touch and JAMF Pro gives plenty of resources to make that a possibility for our environment.
Often Imitated, Never Duplicated
What do you like best about the product?
The support systems that Jamf has in place are fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Colleagues complain about Jamf's UI but I personal it wouldn't have it any other way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solid device management with fantastic reporting and the ability to integrate with nearly every other system we use
Amazing Experience a JNUC2022
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy-to-use interface, and the product is very intuitive. The new remote control tool that was just announced at JNUC2022 is going to be very useful and will help us support our users faster and more efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Really there is not much to dislike. It did take me a while to adapt to Jamf Pro coming from an SCCM / Intune background.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jamf is going to help us deploy macOS devices faster to our end users and with a much better experience.
Our preferred tool for organizations that takes macOS management seriously
What do you like best about the product?
The deep integrations with macOS and the completeness of management capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
The minimum seat payment model and the sometimes illogical menu-flow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solves most, all, parts of managing macOS. It benefits us since it enables en equal experience regardless if a user chooses macOS or Windows.
