Won’t work in another Mac support role without JAMF PRO.
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use of the product is incredible. The ability to perform management tasks via iOS device is a life saver.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like it all!!! The product has developed nicely over the last few years and addressed all of my needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing 3000 Macs is made incredibly easy. The users love the branded Self Service app!

Great product with a great community to back it.
What do you like best about the product?
I’ve been using jamf pro for 3 years now, and as an end user for 5. It is seamless in how it integrates with your Mac environment. The platform is fully customizable. With a bit of technical know how, you can leverage a CLI, the Device Enrollment Program, and the mobile device management framework from Apple to control all of your products.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally there are bugs that may be gotchas. Their support though will always work with you to relieve them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We achieved SOC2 by managing our fleet. We keep our devices up to date, secure, and encrypted using Jamf pro. We also make sure that our tools have access to the tools they need.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and the experience that it gives our end users. It has simplified our support of Macs in our environment

There isn’t anything I don’t like, very user friendly for the admins.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We solved Macs on our domain. Ease of roll out of our Macs to our users.

It's sort of expensive but if you can get past that it's great.

What do you like best about the product?
The people at Jamf are incredibly helpful. I've been a customer for 5+ years, and I wouldn't consider anyone else for MDM. They always stay up to date on the latest Apple software updates as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to be honest. The pricing is fair for K-12, and their support is fantastic. Everyone with everything was free, but in reality, Jamf saves me from needing to hire someone to maintain software updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jamf allows me to manage our entire Apple fleet from a single dashboard. I can have a high level view of software installed, versions, etc.
Easy Administration , powerful options
What do you like best about the product?
JAMF is useful to me for the protection of company assets. The ability to locate and wipe a lost machine is great for reducing data theft.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are instances where the master/slave doesn't update immediately and I end up sending configurations to the wrong scope.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having machines with Software Center allows users to install approved apps without them having admin on the locale machine.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take the JAMF100 to get going quickly.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Jamf empowers me to empower my users to be more productive and find the help they need easily. I also love the insights I get into how my Mac fleet is used. Jamf let’s me find pain points before they become bigger issues and keeps me in security compliance with minimal effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jamf could be a bit better about communicating with it’s pro support members. It seems if you don’t have an active problem you will never hear from your support members or your TaM
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jamf pro allowed us to take control of our Mac fleet. Prior to Jamf we didn’t have any management on our macs other than making sure they were in FileVault. Now we can recover lost/stolen devices and we aren’t worried about machines walking away.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Jamf is the gold standard for MDM. Ii would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high level MDM
