Great platform for Embedded iPaaS!

  • August 12, 2021
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
* The ability to whitelabel and self-host the platform
* Many connectors
* Great customer support
What do you dislike about the product?
* There is some learning curve to learn how to use the product well. That said, I think it is true for any iPaaS solution.
* The platform is less mature than the big players, but they are making good progress.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
* Offer our customers the ability to integrate our platform into their systems.
* Build internal integrations flows.

User friendly and powerful Ipaas

What do you like best about the product?
Graphical programming interface with powerful customization possible through scripting, ability to create and consume custom connectors. Template and instance accounts allow for fine control on deployments and versioning.
Wide breath of transport protocols supported, REST, SOAP, GRAPHQL amongst others.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not necessarily a flaw, but maintaining and cross-referencing large lists of key/value pairs is not as straightforward as other things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Strategic integrations between our accounting platform (Xledger) and third parties when changes to said platforms are not in scope.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Perfect balance between functionality and usability. Cyclr allows you to do most of what you would need to do in the context of integrations at a fraction of the time it would take doing it programmatically.

Amazing Integration tool with lots of plugins to other APIs

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, comprehensiveness, Ability to switch between simple and advanced views to build a logical integration with clear flows. This is such a comprehensive suite of offerings it's hard to fathom why this doesn't have a broader market share. It is so easy to use and ensure that our customers have a clear and simple "set it and forget it" experience. The fact that you can request additional APIs for integration and that they are turned out for usage in a very rapid turnaround only adds to the value these guys provide.

They have also just added a forum for customer discussions regarding solutions, upcoming features and the like. All in all, a comprehensive solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes a little tricky to understand which of the internal API functions you might need. This however is frequently cleared up by their support team who are excellent. Other than that there's precious little to make a negative impression on my experiences, as everything you might want or need is held within the platform (including help)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integrating customer platforms into our own Native SaaS Solution, with ease and a surety and security that the interface provides. We've managed to integrate solutions from various APIs and have requested new APIs to be connected at a small cost, with additional features added to existing connections to ensure they can meet our clients' needs. We're feeding data from our clients' systems into Marketing lists in our platform allowing them to conduct their marketing activities and return resultant data back to their systems. A comprehensive fit for our (and our clients' business needs).
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you've looked at all the others in this arena, come back and realise that this is the solution that you want, as well as the one you need. You'll be awfully glad you did.

What do you like best about the product?
- Good range of connectors
- Minimal code required to build integrations
- Simple and easy to use UI to set up processes
- Helpful and responsive customer support
What do you dislike about the product?
- Transaction logs could be easier to use
- Pricing structure not optimal for users with multiple connectors, but low task usage
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Increase in-house capabilities with low code tool
- Increase in new integration build speed with no need to build new integrations form scratch
Recommendations to others considering the product:
- Start simple and pick one use case to build and get use to the UI
- Ensure you fully understand the API documentation and do not rely on Cyclr documentation alone

Code Free Implementations

What do you like best about the product?
Cyclr is really easy to use, with drag and drop functionality.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing negative in our use so far. even with our most complicated integrations we've found a simple solution within Cyclr
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a software house, and our clients have a seemingly unlimited variety of products and systems that they need us to integrate with. By using Cyclr we can now perform these integrations much quicker and with fewer errors than coding ourselves. Even with really complicated integrations being able to perform complex file manipulation with a few lines of js is really handy too.

The big wins for us are :-

We have monetised Integration as a Service, which fits in really well with the SaaS model of our product.
Our developers can now dedicate their time to adding front-end features that keep our existing customers happy and help us attract new ones.
We can now complete complex integration in very tight timescales, giving us competitive advantage.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use the Cyclr support team, they are a nice bunch and will get you up and running in no time

Incredible customer focus combined with a fantastic product

What do you like best about the product?
With the aim of delivering a best in class solution to our customers, Aptimyz has many integrations in its roadmap, from accountancy packages, e-commerce and more. We were looking for an integrations partner who we felt we could communicate with, that delivered a powerful solution and importantly affordably. After talking to many other integration companies we choose Cyclr because they were clearly the best across the three points. Also, with our ambitious plans to scale we know that they can scale with us.
What do you dislike about the product?
From my dealings so far I cant identify an issue which I can use to say why I dislike anything in relation to Cyclr. Our decision to part ways was an important strategic one for Aptimyz.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Aptimyz is a cloud-based point of sale and back end business management solution. To build all the integrations required would mean hiring a larger engineering team which is costly. Outsourcing this work by partnering with Cyclr allows us to deliver meaningful solutions to our customers, quickly and effectively.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a powerful integrations product, run by a team who are professional and easy to work with, and all at an affordable price then you have to sit down and talk to Fraser, Philip and the team.

Easy to use integration technology

  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Drag and drop capability for integration (no code)
Speed of integration (various pre-existing connectors)
What do you dislike about the product?
Monitoring of some of the services can be more difficult because of no code - but this is offset by Cyclr's easy to access support team
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Offering a range of pre-integrated connectors speeds up the delivery of integration projects.

Reasonably smooth and faultless experience.

What do you like best about the product?
As a developer with limited experience using API, I found all contact with Cyclr staff to be prompt and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a relative beginner with API a better explanation of the processes in the help documents would have been useful. There were a number of dead links, and I found some concepts confusing. This was ameliorated by the one to one support I gained via Zoom chats with their staff.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There is little need to fully understand all the aspects of the RESTful APIs of the packages we wish to connect to. Cyclr does the heavy lifting for us. I also have found the reporting on the traffic between the Connectors and Aptimyz to be extremely useful for bug fixing.

Smart iPaaS is the Future

  • August 20, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Drag and drop API interface
Customizable API calls
Extreme detail of the solution
2-way nature vs that of others
The support received has been amazing
Availability of connectors (this is the most important)
What do you dislike about the product?
Support is not 24/7 -- difficult for a US-based company
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Growing integrations (potentially) in ways that require fewer resources and time; it allows flexibility outside of just a product roadmap and is not a dev-heavy solution
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be familiar with API structures of whatever apps you are connecting as this helps tremendously; knowledge in basic Javascript can help as well

Flexible tool allowing us to integrate with clients ESPs

  • August 18, 2020
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
- Quick to set up complex tasks
- Ability to use templates in order to duplicate previous integrations, increasing the speed in completing the integration
- Creating of workflows is great and the drag and drop is brilliant
- Allows us to use variables in workflows which is very useful
- Flexible and allows the user to add "Advanced script" in each connector which makes them even more flexible.
- The support team is great over email and have been fantastic at responding in a timely manner and are educational in their responses
What do you dislike about the product?
- It's difficult monitoring the setups. If something breaks we are not being alerted
- No direct access to the system sending the requests so we have to ask for help in case of issues
- The reporting or viewing of the transaction data could be improved. There is a search but having filters and a view being able to see all of the data in rows rather than having to click into a transaction would be beneficial
- Option to export data from transaction flows in one click to XSL or spreadsheet would be great
- We often have issues linking to flows from external links and they don't often work. We end up having to log in and search for the account
- A live chat would be helpful - the guys on email are great but sometimes when you’re in the middle of a flow being able to quickly ask a live chat person would be beneficial
- Being able to have multiple workflows open at the same time and work on them seems to be buggy and you have to re log in to them in order to continue the work
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to integrate with our customers ESPs making the work with Yieldify smoother for clients, they do not have to download the data captured, and instead it's going straight to their ESP.
