What do you like best about the product?
It's such a robost piece of software.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can't handle large point clouds.

Cost savings by reducing cost per cubic yard.
ArcGIS is a necessity if you are in any industry that uses maps.

It’s very user-friendly and has endless capabilities.

It's not an easy transition from ArcGIS Desktop to ArcGIS Pro.

Site Selection for real estate. ArcGIS is imperative when performing site selection analysis and displaying real estate related data.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease in which I can pull maps and comps into one single executive summary report.
What do you dislike about the product?
As an ESRI administrator, managing my licenses and user stats can be quite confusing especially with them always changing the platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to get very nice detailed summaries of info in order to present to our clients in an attempt to gain feedback on loans we wish to connect with.
Advantages of ARCGIS
What do you like best about the product?
Undoubtedly, Esri has a long experience accumulated over 40 years in the market, allowing it to establish itself solidly and provide solutions to its users. It is worth highlighting the breadth of online data available on ARCGIS online.
What do you dislike about the product?
Basically, at this point, one must refer to the constant updating of the software, which results in high costs for users; in the case of geoprocessing, in ARCMap, the user sees their functionality somewhat limited depending on the type of license they have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The use of geodatabase has been very important for the geographic data of the organization to which I belong, as in the geodatabase, spatial information is found in a common spatial reference framework (Feature Dataset), ensuring topological relationships. Additionally, it allowed, through the domain, to minimize the possibility of introducing erroneous or inconsistent data and to apply default values and domains to the entity fields based on the subtype to which they belong, giving value to the data used, ensuring the quality of the geometric data within the implemented geographic system, in general.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
ArcGIS is a powerful tool that allows anyone who handles geographic data to publish and share their web maps with the whole world, and also create interactive online map applications.

Has all the tools you need to just about everything in gis.

Model builder can break easily with only a cryptic error message.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work with gas service lines and the topology works well.

What do you like best about the product?
I am using this product since 2008 and this product is very user-friendly and provides high capability geospatial analysis.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing such dislikes, who ever use this product they start to love this product, Esri platform provides a solution to everyone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I solved multiple industries problems like health, agriculture, defense, forestry, water resources and natural resources.

What do you like best about the product?
Visual capacity for maps is amazing and fascinating. We can create maps easily and easy to learn as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cant handle big data, gets too slow with that data. You have to work with python to diminish that downside. Also it s having problems competing with other data based startups in terms of mapping tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visualizing any data regarding traffic related or not traffic related. It is easy to interpret numbers with using mapping, at least easy to present. Providing spatial analysis is an effective tool thanks to ARCGIS. IT certainly uses spatial and numerical anlaysis easier in terms of visualization.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The problem is somehow product needs to increase its capacity to handle big data in different ways, some startups are moving forward while ESRI is struggling with that. If you re dealing with huge chucks of data, i suggest you look other options.

It allows me to generate accurate cartography with information based on points.

The costs of the license are very high.
It can not be used in all operating systems.
It should have better accuracy in terms of the georeferencing of the cartographic products.
You can not do digital processing of the images.
You have to acquire toolkits, since your menu does not have easy access.

What do you like best about the product?
That information can be so easily overlaid and displayed on maps, easy to understand, with aerial features and other helpful information.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software runs a bit slowly, particularly with large amounts of data or large aerial files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lets you communicate to others problems you are trying to solve or convey data in a visual manner which substantially accelerates compression of geolocational data and issues.

What do you like best about the product?
The possibility of performing so many tasks, from vectorizing a geographic map to working on statistics in thematic maps, is excellent as a tool for planning a specific territory.
What do you dislike about the product?
The hardware requirements for its installation require a good setup for complex tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Publications of thematic maps according to the client's requirements, fully functional for planning studies when undertaking construction projects that may affect the environment, and to be able to locate the best area for their execution.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Recommended as the most complete suite in Geographic Information Systems, functional for professionals in Geography and related fields such as Geology, Environment, Mining, and even Sociology. A software with which you will not need to use other similar programs to carry out the assigned or planned tasks.
