In IBM Maximo, a good EAM System to manage maintenance of your plant and keep eye on eye inventory.
What do you like best about the product?
The best part is if you can make a PM plan and you can trigger the work order manually as well as on auto. Another best thing is you can define failure codes
What do you dislike about the product?
It's inventory module should have some more customize flexibility. If you want to purchase something first you need to define item code. I mean when you are purchasing something first time. Its not confirm that you will get same thing as you have planned and addee specifications while defining item code. There is also one thing sometimes you don't purchase.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are managing our maintenance of the plant. It helps us to track the record of failures that we have encountered on one piece of equipment. We can also define failure codes. This is the best thing. In inventory you can define max, mini & reorder points this is also a good option.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a good solution as a CMMS.
It helps me to run my maintenance work and records all necessary items

I could solve any question from the auditor by showing the record in MAXIMO and configuring the asset performance monitoring

Maximo is a tool that is very easy to use and a friendly application.

I don't know about any negative points as Maximo is working smoothly in our location.

We are using Maximo as a centralized approval platform for all over the organization and users are satisfied to approve PO, RO and DTR with a single click.

Please user IBM Maximo as it is a centralized platform for the procurement department to link with users

Some Times you will get glitch in the same, but to resolve that you just need to log out and login.

The flexibility of the modules and its capability to predict and provide data trends. The extent of its coverage that is useful for an end to end process.

There are some jargons unique to the system which is somehow confusing if introduced to the client which gives them other impression. Out of the box functionality can be improved more.

The manual process which prolongs the process of building a station with nationwide scope. It lessen the turn around time and duration of the process at its best quality.

Tracking of assets is easy to navigate and the whole process flow becomes more efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
When executing on multiple incidents simultaneously, it has some clashes and clogged on some queue system. As a result, logging out my access.
