Multi asset and work order tracking made easy with maximo
What do you like best about the product?
Maximo has user friendly interactive interface which is very easy to learn for newbies.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's server base software hence Takes longer to render the data which make it slow compare to software which run on computers such as tally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We create order to complete given task and manage warehouse inventory,issue and receive material.

What do you like best about the product?
Best in class asset management. Simple User Interface having layouts for managing asset operations with business process. It has rich features to integrate with various daily use software.
What do you dislike about the product?
Though it has very good features still I feel somewhat lags when the data load is at its peak. I think the updated versions will correct it. Its price is high as compared to its peers. And no free version is available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for our asset management. As our organization is very big and we need to keep track of our assets on a daily basis so Maximo helps us in a very effective way.

What do you like best about the product?
Without dependency maintaining and tracking, assets are very important for our business. Before I was depending on the manual report to track on status. But now after starting using this tool, my work has become very easy and I can update, assign, maintain and track our department asset status in a single place at any time. This tool also helped me to do forecasts on our assets.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface is a little complex to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Benefits are many like, now, I have reduced assets shortage. Very easy to use.

The UI is simple to navigate. Although instalation and integrations are not the easiest to get first time with the compatability matrix by IBM

Maximo can be unstable if the hosting servers are underspecced or some best practices are not applied.

Service requests for our clients are managed within maximo with all requests being logged and the logged against KPIs. These can help towards performance reviews and audits

What do you like best about the product?
Maximo is indeed a user-friendly software, easy to configure and easy to use while retaining the capability to be customized to suit any business needs. The best part is that even when it is highly customized, it retains the same appearance so that the user can find his bearings easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is highly dependant on internet speed; therefore, its utilization across the various remote sites can be tricky sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was using Maximo to keep track of maintenance processes within the O&G plant - Maximo saved my time and did a great job in planning, scheduling, and reporting.

IBM Maximo can be easily customized to fit any specific business requirements whether it is about adding new applications or new tables. you need zero code to move forward and change the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dashboards (Start centers) graphs used are very limited and basic. Start centers will not be updated automatically unless you refresh the page.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to keep track and monitor our assets in one place. My work mainly adding assets to tool and assigning it to users and keep track of assets and inform management on assets status. The dashboard is very helpful for me. This tool made it easy for us to pre-plan on our assets procurement. The mobile app is very helpful for me where I can share information with the manager at any time.

There is a dislike for this tool. Perfect handy EAM tool.

The flexibility. the ability to ajdust to many business processes

the UI is a bit overbearing and daunting. especially to new users.

Preventative Maintenance Programs are improving by using the tool . Also improving management of storerooms/ toolcribs.
