Best solution for our asset management: IBM Maximo

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use. Adding, assigning, and Tracking assets in this tool is very comfortable. Before It was difficult for me to send asset information manually to management. After started using this tool, my work becomes very comfortable. I can easily add assets and update the status. Now, Information regarding assets status management can see any time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Till now I didn't face any issues with the tool. Easy to understand and start work. There is nothing to dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monitoring assets. Updating time to time status. Conducting monthly review meeting.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This tool will help you to keep track of assets easily. Track progress.

What do you like best about the product?
- The user interface is easy to use and the dashboard is handy when managing assets.
- Managing the condition of the asset. It is helpful to increase durability and get the most use of an asset.
- The mobile app is convenient for remote work or out-of-office work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is sometimes it is slow to load. Other than that, it is excellent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Maximo to managing the assets of the business efficiently and to make the most use of an asset.

What do you like best about the product?
As a lead, it's important for me to keep track on department assets. Because our work should effect due to asset issues. Before I use to face many issues like manual report generation, following up with the tech team to fix/change assets and was need to get approved manually. But after starting using this IBM Maximo tool I forget to keep track of assets because now all issues handing by this tool. Just opening the dashboard I can see asset status, approval, etc. Forecasting is also very useful with this tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
A perfect asset management tool I worked on. I didn't face any major issues till now. ITs helped me a lot. Hence there is no dislike about this tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Assigning assets to department users. Asset Tracking. Exporting reports and sending reports to management on asset details. Pre-planning.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's very easy to keep track of your assets. This is very important for all companies because major cost involvement is in this.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to add assets, assign and maintain. A very user-friendly Dashboard helped me to keep track of all assigned assets with an exact condition. Before we need to send a separate email to get approval for each time. Now dashboard automatically updated all the conditions and made us very easy to get approval from management for replacement/procurement. And also helped us to make a prior plan on assets purchasing before any issues escalate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially, it was a little difficult for me to understand and use this tool. But after I started using it helped me a lot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Assigning assets to new users. Updating status on assets to management. Getting approval from management for any changes and implementing them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
A perfect tool to manage your asset life cycle from purchase to disposal.

What do you like best about the product?
The interface revamp is greatly appreciated as well as the integration with other software tools

Previously it was the menu interfaces but that has improved

Maximo has helped my organization grow exponentially in terms of performance improvement and efficiency by tracking lost time and improving work process flow
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Learn the basic menu items and take time to understand the different dashboards and you will be fine. Maximo is a very powerful tool when used correctly.

What do you like best about the product?
The Commodity Groups and Codes in the Item Master application provides a way for us to analyze spending by product type (based on Commodity), it can also be used to generate an accurate report to the management. While the Item Classifications and Attributes can be used to accommodate the technical specification of items and to identify similar object.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customization is sometimes required but can be done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By properly implementing the Material Classification with their Attributes in the Item Master application and also by utilizing the right Commodity Groups and Codes, I realized that we have actually improve the functionality of the system, easy to filter/search for items and easy to manage our Items which is required to support the Maintenance activities.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
In order to maximize the functionality of the system, I highly recommend that during the implementation, the Material Classification with their Attributes and the Commodity Groups and Codes are also implemented, it is required a good data preparation (to prevent “garbage-in, garbage-out”), but also end up with an excellent result.

This is a system of choice. From Work Management to integration with ERP system Maximo has been a good choice. With years of experience this is a mature system

In few words: Field mobility capability. The mobility interface does not live upto expectation

Tool of choice for Work Management and slowly transitioning onto APM capability
