Maximo is practical and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
There are a lot of diferent ways to get to an specific screen and or application, and its very easy to use the filters to narrow down the results and find what you are looking for.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are struggling to handle of the print of the work orders because doesnt have a function out of the box to batch print a group of work orders with one click

We have better data for problem solving and have helped our kpis to improve

I like the flexibility and comprehensiveness to get all informaiton from one system.

I dislike how expensive it is and not viable for small customers

What do you like best about the product?
It is the most comprehensive EAM system I know of. The Asset Management system is terrific.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like the Maximo Scheduler for facility maintenance.

Utilizing Maximo to help reduce inefficiencies.

Don't customize. Build your business process to match Maximo.

reportes are hard, it is dificult to gt complex data reports out of maximo as a user.

Maximo is THE EAM system
What do you like best about the product?
Maximo is a very robust EAM system that will allow you to configure asset lifecycle maintenance activies at an enterprise level. It is more user friendly than many of the other enterprise level systems and is easily configurable to allow very specific solutions to be designed based on your business case.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the licensing model and trying to figure out what license levels have access to which modules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to become more proactive rather than reactive when it comes to maintenance. We are also trying to digitally capture all our asset information, work history, spare parts, etc. to allow us to have a better understanding of how our assets are performing while improving uptime.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You must have management support and buy-in before implementing Maximo (or any EAM system). Without support from the top, driving behavior and system adoption, it will take decades to accomplish any results using any software.
