What do you like best about the product?
The training we get from Electra - Customization from our on site BPD developer
What do you dislike about the product?
Scheduler has beeen lack luster and difficult to sell to our end user
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Maximo for Asset management - Supply Management - Procurement-Contracts - everything but financial transactions
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Core Maximo has been readily accepted by the end user -with a diverse user base it can be difficult at times to configure an agile solution

What do you like best about the product?
The comprehensive and expert training we receive from electra Learning has been excellent. I would highly recommend them.
What do you dislike about the product?
IBM does not have electra as a learning partner, this is something they should consider.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are showing users how best to use the system.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to perform start to finish tasks within one program, and have the historical data available to my technicians
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that the processes are not as seamless as they could be. Reducing the clicks between tasks would be beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are working toward efficiency and going paperless
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You need to try the product for an extended timeframe to see the full benefit.

What do you like best about the product?
Maximo is very flexible and fairly easy to configure. Good integration tools
What do you dislike about the product?
More consistent support. Better information on upgrade paths for multiple products installed. No ability to uninstall a product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asset inventory and management. Workflorce management. Better idea of asset inventory and costs

associated.

What do you like best about the product?
Flexibiltiy of Maximo. Strong asset management capabilties. Support and improvements to core product is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Features and improvements are not released fast enough. Some features are not sensible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Preventative and Corrective work orders. Inventory and asset management. Maximo is allowing us to create, schedule, and assign different types of work orders to better manage our work.

What do you like best about the product?
the anywhere platform allows the maintenance technicians the ability to complete work, retrieve data from anywhere on site
What do you dislike about the product?
the reports are often too difficult to pull out of Maximo

What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of the maximo workscreen. The ease opf use for the user.
What do you dislike about the product?
We currently have a very custom version of Maximo. There are a lot of steps to cpmplete a task, so we end up using lots of work arounds
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is the cmms. It tracks the data so we can work more efficiently
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't tweek it. Use it out of the box then customize it

What do you like best about the product?
This app is very tailored to running a maintenance shop. It's really good for keeping up on your PMIs and helping you with inventory maintenance
What do you dislike about the product?
The search on this is absolutely terrible. Old Boolean style searching and half the time it can't find things because a part number is incomplete in the system. I'm not sure how to fix it, but I feel like it could be so much more user friendly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped us to make sure we have the inventory we need when we need it. I can even look at the inventory of other facilities if we don't happen to have the part I need right this moment.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As compared to other inventory database apps, this one is decent. Though, they need to work on their search functions.

What do you like best about the product?
I'm not entirely familiar with all of the features
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm new at using the software and would like a begginer tour. I haven't found anything like that on Maximo.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm learning how to use the tool to communicate with other departments.
