What do you like best about the product?
The use of topic to define alerts and the historical references to identify tendences
What do you dislike about the product?
In pulse it´s not possible view alerts in a map with an icon by type of topic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No much, the more relevant issue I have finally I find an alternative by myself

My customer success team (Desiree Smith and Julia Lasko) are consistently professional and responsive whenever needed to connect and discuss product features and use cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
Due to the nature of my workflow, I wish there was a way to contribute feedback to specific alerts directly within the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to receive early, actionable alerts related to physical security that helps us protect our clients.
Dataminr provides valuable real time alerts for a variety of events
What do you like best about the product?
The online interface is very intuitive. I enjoy the localized alerting on the mobile app.

I don't see any downsides as of right now - it performs exactly as advertised

It allows us to stay on top of global events that could affect our employees and our operations. We're able to react quickly.

All the features. Dataminr provides the flexibility to choose what notifications I want to receive.

Nothing. Dataminr is amazing so far for my purposes.

Dataminr has email support and APP support. I will say their customer service is very good.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dataminr needs to highlight search terms results. It would make it a lot easier to scan through results.

Trying to identify threats and it does give a timely manner on news and current events.

What do you like best about the product?
First-alert capabilities. we are periodically able to notify stakeholders of devloping situations before law enforcement does.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inability to view some source content. Depending on the site, we are unable to view images or source material.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monitor realtime and emerging threats for our area of responsibility. We are sometimes able to notify stakeholders of an incident before law enforcement does.
Wonderful tool for any Security Professional
What do you like best about the product?
One of the best things about Dataminr is that my team is able to receive alerts of events before some news stations, and the ability to follow up with the source allows my team to act quickly knowing we have a valid source.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see the local alerts be a little more robust. I have learned of several events from local pages on various social media outlets and have not received any notice from Dataminr.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to alert our staff of notable events near their respective offices which keeps us a step ahead in keeping our staff safe. When it comes to emergencies, every second matters.
Stellar platform for real-time alerts and top notch customer support
What do you like best about the product?
Dataminr's Artificial Intelligence (AI) is constantly evolving and is fantastic for grabbing real-time alerts globally based on the settings one decides to configure. The customer support team is one of the best teams in the industry. Whenever my team needed any questions answered, their team would be there and set up quick calls that showed us how to utilize the tools on Dataminr better.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much dislike about Dataminr. At first, those who are not technically advanced may be intimidated by all the functions of the product. No worries though, just set up some time with their customer support team and they will walk you through using the product catered to your needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can now see alerts catered to various regions we set for where a majority of our employees reside currently. This new ability gives us an upper hand in issuing out emergency alerts in a timely fashion.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The user interface is easy on the eyes is simple to use once setup is completed. Reach out to the customer support team to get some time in to train up on all the features the product can do.
Dataminr for SOC
What do you like best about the product?
Great customization ability to fit our needs, given the ability to see what we want to see and follow what is important to us. The relationship and involvement between us and our Dataminr account manager has been amazing. They really engage to help us get exactly what we are looking for. The time they spend on training us of all the aspects and benefits of Dataminr were very helpful and impressive.
What do you dislike about the product?
A lot of noise, but working closely with our account representative has eliminated and customized our dashboard exactly as we needed. We have been using this platform for approximately one year and have really learned to understand the alerts and where to filter them. The dashbord is very user friendly- not too many dislikes from us!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We noticed the gap in communication between our SOC and the affected employees. Dataminr gave us the ability to quickly share data and emergency information relevant to each location and need. Dataminr helps us streamline communication sharing and the ability to keep our employees safe and in the know!

Continue to reach out for assistance from the Dataminr team, they are there to help and go out of their way to assist when needed.
