Detailed Competitor Comparisons That Make Performance Tracking Easy

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy being able to see competitor comparisons on a day-to-day basis so I can track changes over time. It shows how our company is performing in terms of user satisfaction and market presence on a very detailed level. The support team has also been very active, especially our designated Account Manager.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometiems the data can be a bit delayed, and the UI/UX could use a little improvement in terms of connecting reviews to campaigns in an easy-to-view format. On an enterprise plan I find pricing conversations can also be a bit difficult, especially if you have multiple profiles.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a great integration that sends summaries of reviews directly to Slack that allows team members who don't have access to our G2 dashboard quick visibility into customer feedback. It removes one extra step for us in terms of learning from customer reviews.

What do you like best about the product?
I like all of the options we have on the back end for running new types of campaigns, testing things out, and seeing what is coming in, as soon as it comes in. I also like that the G2.com reviews are being scraped by LLMs, and the reviews from G2.com also end up on other marketplaces like AWS. These aspects are important because they help us source accurate voice of customer feedback and ensure those proof points are amplified. The fact that G2 reviews are scraped by LLMs improves our chances of being the preferred option. I enjoy the campaign options because they allow me to test things and inform other internal teams about what is working best.

I also appreciate the support our CSM provides on a regular basis. He is very connected with each of our product teams and provides consistent support with tracking, new ideas, and troubleshooting when necessary.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that the back end of G2.com is changing all the time, so from day to day I could see an entirely different layout, buttons, screens, etc., and there are no notifications or pop-up walkthroughs that could help. I also wish there was slightly more control over some aspects. For example, with the review refresh campaigns, while we find them extremely useful, we cannot customize the email copy or the send date, which is not ideal, especially when we want to avoid wearing out our customers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2.com boosts visibility and credibility for our company by letting customers advocate on a verified platform. It allows us to refresh old reviews and source new ones, helping us better showcase proof points. The backend campaign options offer flexibility to test and improve strategies.

We benefit from having G2 at our customer events because the G2 ambassadors are always very engaging with our customers, and receive great feedback from attendees. This is a huge source of reviews for us, but we also try to come up with ideas to source and promote throughout the year.

We are also able to integrate G2 with our UserEvidence surveys, which allows us to capture customer proof testimonials, and also give our customers a chance to leave a review if they are satisfied with our solutions.

What do you like best about the product?
I use G2.com for sourcing customer reviews and collecting seasonal badges. I appreciate how it gives us an easy platform to showcase customer reviews, supporting brand awareness and positioning in the market against competitors. I like that it's easy to use for running campaigns and creating incentives for our customers. The backend dashboard is intuitive, providing visibility and tracking of reviews and an easy space to keep our profile updated. I also find the initial setup of G2.com very easy. Our customer success manager and account manager have been great over time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. Great that it now gives insight into LLM searches, perhaps more can come on that

G2.com showcases our customer reviews easily, supports brand awareness, and helps with market positioning. It's easy to use, run campaigns, and manage incentives, with an intuitive dashboard for tracking and updating profiles.

Essential Platform with Excellent Features

What do you like best about the product?
I find G2.com super easy to use, and I love how easy it is for reviews to show up on the platform. We really like the shorter forms and appreciate that our account managers help us create shorter reviews for people with less time. It's a great platform for gathering reviews, and it's nice being able to see all the different reports we show up in. Also, the platform's growth is interesting to trace, and there are many features, like social media-generated images, even though we don't use them. We appreciate that those features are available.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes we're not going to know how the algorithm ranks us versus other competitors. We have competitors in the market who have a lot more reviews than us, and they rank higher than us in certain things even though we know that their solution is not awesome. For example, there's a competitor that is an overlay solution that has routinely faced lawsuits that the accessibility community does not see as a viable accessibility solution, yet they rank higher than us in certain categories, because they just have more reviews than us. It seems sort of counterintuitive because that platform might be recommended to people via G2.com, but it's actually not a great solution, and the accessibility community would say, "hey, don't use that."
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm a Product Marketer, and we're constantly looking into Customer Sentiment and feedback, so that we can use it for guidance across our product roadmap, and social posts! G2.com makes it easy to gather and aggregate customer reviews quickly, which is hard when customers get many requests. We value using G2 badges as social assets to enhance market positioning. It streamlines feedback collection and offers useful features, even if we don't utilize all of them.

I like that G2.com is always developing new features and has very supportive and knowledgeable reps. The pipeline ROI metrics and AI visibility overviews are also valuable to me. Additionally, the initial setup was easy.

What do you like best about the product?
I use G2.com to bring more visibility to our brand as Employment Hero's customer marketing specialist. It's helpful in spotlighting our service offerings, staying competitive in the market, and influencing buyer behavior. I value the influence G2 has for LLM discoverability and the authority the platform holds in the market for consumer research and buyer intent. Additionally, having a dedicated Customer Success Manager team is helpful for actioning things and answering questions quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
G2.com is not the most communicative about platform changes or updates. For example, we weren't notified about changes in the UI/UX for the review campaign section, which paused our existing campaigns and budgets. There is also a lack of clarity on the currency of gift cards rewarded to customers. Additionally, I would like more visibility or insights for 'in-app' reviews since we can't view which channels perform the best when using in-app review generation, like in-platform messaging versus direct EDM using G2's API.

Valuable Insights and Intuitive Setup, Slightly Slow Content Support

What do you like best about the product?
I really like that G2.com is easy to use and very intuitive, making it simple to build and update product pages and keep them relevant. The platform provides valuable insights that help us across our marketing campaigns and gives good insights into the pacing of review generation. The review generation campaigns are very strong and allow us to be adaptive, especially during times when we need to accelerate our chase for grids and badges. The support has been good and incredibly useful, with regular cadence with our account manager providing insights on improvements to ensure we're getting the most out of the platform. Overall, it effectively helps us position our product better in the market.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the content generation side isn't so great. When we've used it in the past, the content takes too many iterations. The team we work with often is a little bit slow. Often we've ended up just creating our own assets in house from the G2.com data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2.com helps us with visibility on competitors, improves product positioning, and provides valuable insights for planning marketing campaigns. It simplifies creating and updating product pages and boosts our presence with badges, which helps our sales teams and competitive campaigns.
