What do you like best about the product?
I use G2.com to gather reviews from my users, which helps our ranking in our category. I leverage these reviews as the voice of the customer for product marketing, boosting our brand's credibility. I really like that the product is adapting to new times and always looking to provide more value to users. Their success agents have always been great. The reporting on competitor ranking, live grid placements, and tracking prospects is quite useful. Also, the initial setup was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the pricing has become a barrier to entry now for small companies. I also think that the intent product is not as useful, especially when compared to how much it costs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use G2.com to gather user reviews which help with our ranking and credibility. It improves our market presence and discoverability. The competitor ranking reports and live grid placements are quite useful.

The integration with other service providers is limited to large providers, logically. An open API would be nice.

In the niche market of our product, the players are not easily reachable online. Instead of using a scattergun approach, targeted filtering must be applied for maximum success.

What do you like best about the product?
Everything is fairly straightforward and the admin dashboard is very user friendly.
From an integrations standpoint almost eveything can be found that is important for a digital marketer.

No downsides per se. I think one massive improvement would be to have contact level intent data available even if just for North America. One of the competitors (Sourceforge) has this included in one of their tiers.

As we mostly use G2 to surface MQLs manually I would say it helps us identify important account signals on which we can base our outreach and targeting.

I find G2.com easy to use, which makes it straightforward to manage reviews of our platform. I also like how easy it is to leave a review and see where organizations sit on lists. Achieving grid positions in our relevant categories is great because it helps us stand out against competitors and boosts our brand visibility.

The scoring is a complicated algorithm which is confusing and is influenced by external factors not always accurate.

UX can be a little complicated, lots of different tabs and places to click into accidentally.

What G2 Profile and Reviews is solving for me is mainly the confusion while choosing the right software. Normally, every tool looks good on its own website, so it’s hard to know what actually works. G2 solves this by showing real user reviews and honest feedback in one place.
