G2: a trusted source of valuable insights and assets
What do you like best about the product?
As a Product Marketer, I appreciate G2 Marketing Solutions for its ability to keep me up-to-date with both user feedback on the products I manage and insights into competitors and the overall Application Integration domain I operate in. Additionally, I value the reports and assets generated quarterly by the G2 platform, which are always welcomed and appreciated by my stakeholders in Product Management, Sales, and other disciplines.
What do you dislike about the product?
The process of attracting new reviews for the products I manage can sometimes be somewhat challenging and complex. This process often requires a significant time investment from a Product Marketer, with results that may be relatively modest compared to the effort involved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 Marketing Solutions helps me stay up-to-date with market trends in my field and understand user opinions about both the product I manage and its competitors.
Easy platform for obtaining and incentivizing reviews
What do you like best about the product?
We've had a lot of success using G2 to collect customer reviews. It's easy for people to use and our team can point people toward where and how to write a review. As someone on the marketing team, I'm grateful that we can both collect and share out these reviews seamlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a LOT of notifications. I know they are trying to keep things front and center, but it can be a bit excessive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to collect (and showcase) our product reviews within a trusted environment. In turn, that builds trust with our clients and prospects.
Good and bad about G2- experience great and solution easy, but leads are few

Very easy to navigate and integrate to the team, leads are clear and concise and guess work is taken out of things

Dont see as many leads or features as we would like for the price we are paying

What do you like best about the product?
Intent data is a huge lever for us to pull on when it comes to understanding who is actively in the market for our solution. The integration into third party tools allows us to deliver ads to those who are of an attractive level of intent, making it easy to use the data in a strategic way. Content is also a big part, where everyday we have new reviews coming in. Not only is our profile a stepping stone for prospects buying journey to learn about who we are and where we stand in the market, but it also opens the door to new prospects who may not have heard of us before - but G2 was the path they took to find us.
What do you dislike about the product?
G2 has been a great experience so far! If any issues arise, they are minor and our CSM is always quick is resolve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We know G2 is a common touchpoint for our prospects and our company reputation is reflected in our market presence and satisfaction scores, a positive G2 score is a signal that our customers are happy - and that's most important to us.
Great platform to increase brand visibility, increase trust and generate reviews
What do you like best about the product?
Potential customers of our software frequently look for reviews online before considering the purchase of our software and G2 is often the first place of visit in this regard. It's invaluable to showcase case studies, brand videos and features of our software with a prominent G2 profile in order for customers to make an informed decision. Reviews of course are also crucial when deciding whether our software is within their consideration set. G2 and their account management seem to make an effort to understand our business to support us in the best way possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
There could be more ways to directly generate customer leads for our business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main benefit is the increase in trust to our business, it's especially useful for start-ups who need external validation before being considered by potential clients.
The Place to Be for Software Reviews
What do you like best about the product?
The G2 review pages are modern and flexbile and they allow for us to control our brand for a consistent customer experience. The integrations with other tools such as Hubspot have been huge for us and they are constantly innovating and making the platform better.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. We know we can be using it more and plan to as we scale.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 gives us access to many prospects that we don't even know about and helps build our top of funnel leads. These prospects are often times evuluating their current system and we can convert to our pipeline. The Hubspot integration allows for my team to not have to leave Hubspot to see the G2 intent data.

being able to respond to reviews has been helpful in getting customers who are upset to let us know in ways they normally would not.

I wish there was a way to contact the user directly without it being public

connecting with out customers to in ways they normally wouldnt share with us
Trusted review site with actionable marketing tools
What do you like best about the product?
G2 reviews are vetted and credible, so assets and collateral carry weight with customers and prospects.
What do you dislike about the product?
G2 Grids can sometimes be crowded and include competitors that would not traditionally be in our customers' consideration set.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My primary application is to capture voice of the customer from reviews, but my colleagues in the company leverage intent data and marketing collateral / comparisons in sales efforts too.

easy to navigate, and compare different solutions. customer support have been responsive when amending different profiles

we are able to create traction and increase our social proof among our customers
Great service and support
What do you like best about the product?
I've found their support and service to be excellent. Whenever I have had issues, most of the time, they're quite responsive and solve the issues. It was fairly simple to set up.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure their proof of whether someone is really using the product or not is enough. We once got a review that was clearly for our competitor. They removed it. But not sure how they would have passed through.

We've found the ability to give and read reviews has impacted us positiviely.
