My personal favourite review site to use
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about G2 is having an assigned Account Manager who I know I can reach out to about anything, whether that be an issue, wanting to find out about campaigns, reports and everything in between!
The upsides to the platform is that it's really easy to follow, there's lots included such an integrations, grids, competitor information. I also find the navigation tool at the top really helpful.

What do you dislike about the product?
A funtionality to tell us we should update our profiling/documention could be a helpful tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great platform for showcasing our customer reviews, therefore showing our prospects how good our system is.
Excellent Resource for Promoting Software

Very simple and straightforward for our users to leave us reviews, and the dashboards are clear for s
What do you dislike about the product?
Some users complain about the length of the obligatory questions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing us to get our name out there directly from our customers experience.
Great customer success, great buyer-intent data.
What do you like best about the product?
Their customer success team is very skilled and helps you "go live" rather quickly. I love the integratiuons they have to leverage intent data throughout my marketing stack. Extremely powerful when it's coupled with ABM platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've seen a decline in traffic for G2, which affects our category awareness.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed better insights into the companies reviewing our product, and how far along the funnel they were. It helps us allocate budget towards the right companies instead of building our funnel from the ground up.
Great tool for marketing
What do you like best about the product?
I love how G2 builds trust with verified reviews that we can showcase directly on our website—our audience really values seeing real feedback from real users. It’s also great for marketing materials, whether it’s presentations, email campaigns, or social posts. The insights from their analytics help us refine strategies and stand out in a competitive space.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform can be a bit overwhelming at first especially for new team members. It seems to take a bit of time for new users to fully udnerstand how to access all of the information as it is not always intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 helps us establish trust and credibility with potential customers through real reviews. It’s made gathering feedback seamless, boosting engagement and conversions while helping us stay ahead of competitors.
Great tool for customer advocacy
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is very intuitive and easy to use. I easily find the features I'm looking for, and the team are always so responsive and helpful. The various integrations with our CRM and marketing tools are easy to implement.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's really nothing I can think of. I'm able to get everything I need from the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With G2 we can collect customer reviews at a large scale, and are able to showcase our category leadership against other vendors in the same industry. We use buyer intent signals to improve and optimize our sales efforts.
G2 is great!
What do you like best about the product?
G2 makes collecting reviews as easy as possible, you can upload a list of people and G2 will send out 3 emails asking them for a review. Our account manager Tripp is amazing, if we have any questions or requests he is always on hand to help. The badges are great because they allow you to build trust.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only feedback I have is campaign URL's, it would be great to be able to generate your own unique URL for each campaign instead of having to send an email to request one but other than that G2 is great!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Review collection can be difficult and G2 provide you with great resources like email templates or they even collect the reviews for you if you provide them with a list which is great.
Easy to use, lots of insights and data
What do you like best about the product?
It is super easy to get started with G2 - the team helps with creating campaign links etc. The whole process is quite straightforward and seamless. I've been able to scale our review engine (taking over from someone before me) within months, with an easy learning curve. There are many features but I'm yet to explore them all. Customer support is great. I think I log in almost everyday because we run so many campaigns
What do you dislike about the product?
A lot of reviews get rejected for the flimsiest reasons, but then the whole USP is REAL user reviews so it makes sense that they would reject suspicious reviews. There are a lot of features which you never end up using because onboarding and documentation isn't all that prominent on the portal (or maybe I didn't find it)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We want to gather and amplify real customer reviews. We want them to have a platform to voice their opinions, and also use these real reviews to nudge other prospective customers to consider our product. It's a great way to showcase social proof.
Great features, but make sure you have enough reviews to make the most use of G2
What do you like best about the product?
Simple interface to use as a marketer with lots of features (review generation, marketing collaterals, product listing, buyer intent data). Product entry is easily setup with all necessary info (e.g., pricing). Regular calls with our G2 support team to make the most of the subscription.
What do you dislike about the product?
To generate lots of traffic, you need a good amount of reviews. So make sure that you get enough support in your own company from sales colleagues and product management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Get as many people in deciding positions with product interest in contact with us as possible.
Provides a great overall view of our product, service support & culture
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that the content of the reviews give an overall picture of our product, team, culture and what it is like to work with us. I feel like a potential customer can really get to know us before making the decision if they would like to work with us or not. The G2 reviews validate that all of the good stuff we promise is a reality for our existing customers. I also love the AI response feature and the comparison data available. Our CSM Michael is great too, I really like him.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reviews can take a while to be approved (I'm impatient).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customer feedback is our most valuable source of insight, the comments and suggestions help us be the best. G2 independent reviews helps us showcase how fantastic we are.
Good bank of social proof but increasing drawbacks
What do you like best about the product?
It's been useful building up a bank of reviews for our product. We're working in a competitive field so reviews act as social proof and we use them in almost all our marketing channels.
What do you dislike about the product?
There seems to be a tendency for G2 to increasingly allow big enterprises into software categories they don't really fit well into. This means they end up dominating the category and pushing smaller tech who are actually part of the category down the rankings. This coupled with price rises (some of which are eye-watering) are making it nowhere near as useful a marketing channel as it was a few years ago.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building a bank of social proof to support our marketing channels.
