What do you like best about the product?
The clear backend, the helpful customer success team, and ofc the ability to reach a broader market.

The way the product is packaged sometimes is frustrating.

What do you like best about the product?
The intent platform is a useful tool for finding in-market prospective buyers, and having access to marketing materials really helps add credibility to your own brand's GTM.
What do you dislike about the product?
Categorisation can be tricky – there's a sense in which much larger organisations see the benefit of their impact in other areas of business reflected in use cases where they have only minimal (if any notable) presence.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building credibility around our brand, and using that to drive new conversations with in-market buyers. We benefit by adding that to all areas of our GTM, from top-of-funnel marketing to active sales conversations.

Good insights and more invisibility onto the nuances that usually go unnoticed in the sales cycle

What do you like best about the product?
G2 helps us have insights into the little things that go unnoticed throughout the sales cycle. It is hard to attribute successes and impact in a world where everything is connected. Being able to share what our customers love about us and use that intent data helps us understand what is effective in our processes and our product.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have much to complain about. It is hard to directly attribute revenue to a product like this, but our company does believe that it makes sense given our holistic marketing approach.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 is helping us establish a presence in a competitive market by enabling us to showcase our product and how it is different (and better) than what already exists.

Great review website with dedicated professionals

What do you like best about the product?
G2 gives our marketing a tremendous boost. We display our milestones and badges achieved on almost every page of our website. We also use our rankings and badges in other marketing and sales collateral like presentations, documentation, and visuals. Unlike other review websites, G2 is very user-friendly, innovative, and brings us as a software vendor a lot of creditability by our customers and prospects. I also love working with our account managers at g2, everyone is very involved, thinking with us, and very helpful!
What do you dislike about the product?
The G2 algorithm that calculates your Market Presence Scoring is a bit 'blurry'. It is quite challenging to directly influence this and your position on the G2 grid. Your score or position on the grid can also vary from day to day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our profile on G2 is very useful in the buying process of our prospects. In my opinion, third-party references are very valuable to share and showcase. G2 is also a great addition for our sales department to leverage in the sales and account management process.

What do you like best about the product?
It's a great way to get customer feedback on your product and services. Jatin and Ben from G2 have been super helpful too! Always on hand to offer support and advice as we look for ways to improve our review generation efforts and profile.
What do you dislike about the product?
We had a trial of the Buyer Intent Tool included in our first G2 package, which we didn't find as beneficial as other similar tools that we use already in this area.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are always looking for customer feedback and G2 allows us to give our customers more of a voice and give their opinions directly, meaning we can constantly fine-tune our product with that customer feedback in mind. The inclusion of badges and grids is also a great way to promote our product on our website and social media accounts

Poor quality data and lack of support

What do you like best about the product?
The reviews aspect of G2 is quite good. It is a useful way to gain feedback for our Customer Success Team, although an internal, more affordable system would likely suffice.
What do you dislike about the product?
The intent data is often incorrect or irrelevant. There seems to be a number of issues with the platform over the past several months where the dashboard doesn't work properly and provides inconsistent data.
The dashboard often ignores our ICP/Vertical settings and provides data on irrelevant companies. This causes issues with our ABM strategy.
G2's Customer Success/Relationship Team are unhelpful and have litle to no understanding of their own platform. They often make promises to follow up on our issues but never do.
Recently our Customer Success and Relationship Managers dumped us and passed us on to a new Manager who has not taken any time to work with us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is really only helping us generate Customer reviews, which is nice but not for the hefty fee that comes with G2.
The marketing/intent side of the platform does not work correctly, and there is little to no help in resolving these problems.

What do you like best about the product?
The G2 Marketing team is fantastic. Mark and Henry are professionals, which helps us to meet our business goals.
We keep gaining value from our meetings and appreciate the immediate care of the outputs.
The personal touch helps us to increase our value on the G2 website.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the reports weren't 100% clear to me, but our dedicated CSM quickly returned to us with clarifications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The G2 team keeps pushing us to optimize the value we can gain from the G2 website by sharing data and knowledge that isn't a part of the freemium subscription.
Also, the close relationship with the team and the frequent meetings with them encourage us to keep working and improving instead of acting with a "one-time investment" approach. It helps us to increase our brand's awareness and traffic, reach a relevant audience and highlight our advantages over our competitors.
