Effortless Profile Updates, Affordable Ads, and Solid Support
What do you like best about the product?
Updating product profiles and setting up incentive campaigns on G2 is straightforward and user-friendly.
Ads are affordable to set up, making it accessible for a variety of budgets.

What do you dislike about the product?
Navigating between multiple profiles on G2 often boots me out of the platform, which happens more frequently than I’d like and disrupts my workflow. Additionally, I wish there were more features available under our current subscription. For example, the ability to post URLs instead of just PDF downloads would be extremely helpful for tracking traffic from our profile to our site and better understanding how users engage with our content.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Advertising: It’s easy and affordable to set up ads, allowing us to promote our products effectively to a targeted audience.
Reviews: The platform simplifies collecting and managing customer reviews, which build trust and provide valuable social proof for prospects.
Buyer Intent Data: G2’s intent data gives us insights into who’s actively researching our solutions, helping us prioritize leads and target our efforts more effectively.
Social Proof: By showcasing authentic reviews and ratings, G2 strengthens our credibility and supports our messaging across marketing channels.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can encourage my customers to leave reviews and directly see how these reviews impact our brand awareness.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly nothing, G2 is constantly adding on new features and helping us make sure we are fully taking advantage of what is available to us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing us to raise brand awareness
Nice for collecting reviews, but very buggy platform with minimal customer support.

I love being able to collect amazing reviews from our customers!
What do you dislike about the product?
It has been taking 2+weeks to get our reviews moderated. The campaign dashboard is also not accurate and exports do not reflect the correct information every month when we pull this information.

G2 is helping collect all the positive feedback our customers have to say, and helping us to stay current in the market.

- Reviews sometime feel a bit pay to play

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 gives us an automated way to both solicit and analyze Voice of the Customer across different personas, industries and more. It also serves as a great unbiased source for buyers to evaluate us on, as lots of folks start on G2 rather than individual websites.
The one stop shop for all your softwares decisions
What do you like best about the product?
The variety of software categories to choose from, the authenticity of reviews, the access to and extremely responsive customer support, and the ease of integration into CRM systems and product apps made it extremely easy to implement G2 into our existing process and blend it into our day-to-day digital marketing efforts. I also love that the software provides badges and reports that give real-time insights into our company as well as the category's performance every quarter, which in turn influences our business strategy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not really a dislike but it would be great if we could increase the $ gift card cap per review on G2 incentives review campaigns.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an admin, G2 helps communicate our company's benefits and services to prospects and also provides insightful information into buyer intent and category performance.
Great resource for gathering social proof
What do you like best about the product?
G2 is a great resource for generating reviews, tracking competitors, and getting better traction with our target markets.
What do you dislike about the product?
Using the campaigns can be cumbersome if you have strict security guidelines and will have to add them to your list of providers and data processors. That is more of an internal thing, but has been a challenge for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 is helping us gather reviews and manage our presence in the online marketplaces where we want to target top personas we work with.
Easy to manage
What do you like best about the product?
G2 makes it really easy to use and manage to reviews. There are a lot of integration options that make it easy to give internal teams visibility. The support you get from the G2 account management is really helpful and quick.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some options can get a little complex with all the customizations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to collect reviews in an organization and automated way, then be able to share them on our website/social.
Easy to work with & Great insights!
What do you like best about the product?
G2 has been a great way for us to gain insights from our customers. It helps provide a seamless way for them to provide us feedback while also boosting our brand on their platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
When leaving surveys or asking for surveys, they can be a bit time consuming (even 3-4 minutes of questions can be a lot for some customers). I don't mind too much but I know that has been a downside.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps people discover our product and it's a great way for us to recieve feedback about our product.
Good for Reviews, but Not Great for Lead Gen
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it shows social proof for my product if someone is looking on G2. I also like the badges it gives that we can display on our site.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't had a great experience with their lead gen programs. We get leads that aren't ready to buy very often.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is giving us a credible way to show social proof which helps improve our conversion rates on our landing pages.
Some good aspects for building brand credibility

I appreciate the email review campaigns to customers which is handled internally with G2. This has helped us build out our rankings within various grids, which of course builds our brand awareness and credibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that beyond building solid customer reviews, ranking in grids and gathering badges - there are no real upsides for actual lead generation.
