A Truly Helpful Partnership

What do you like best about the product?
Out of my many calls with vendors, software tools, etc., I always know my check-in calls with G2 will be worthwhile. I feel like we're able to address specific issues and objectives as well as plan for more strategic projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to mind, to be honest. It does seem like G2 swaps teams regularly, which changes our Account Manager(s). But overall, we tend to end up with another good Account Manager, so it's not a huge issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 Marketing Solutions helps us 1.) generate reviews from our customers and 2.) leverage the review data (and social proof) throughout our organization and externally.

Must have tool for SaaS marketing teams

What do you like best about the product?
G2 is honest about ranking companies in the categories - regardless if you're paying or not - your position is based on your reviews. This is the best thing you can do for your organic traffic without needing to publish content on your own. Just be ranked high in your category in G2. Also, if you do decide to become a paying customer for GH2 then the support team and account managers really put in effort to make sure you succeed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some small glitches on the dashboard but nothing that your account manager can't help you with. Can't really think about anything else that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
3rd part validation of our product and SEO.

What do you like best about the product?
G2 Marketing Solutions has provided our company with personalized support and consistently beneficial tactics as to how to maximize our efforts on G2. Their non-PPC model works best for our business.
What do you dislike about the product?
Product-wise there is nothing I would look to improve at this time. Cost however, is always a factor in our decisions and G2 has a premium offering.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 Marketing Solutions aids our company in generating reviews from our customers. They also aid us in delivering those reviews to our prospects in the most effective way possible. We are being taken seriously in our market by companies both small and large with their help.

Wonderful customer experience with useful tool

What do you like best about the product?
In my opinion, the most helpful thing we've seen from G2 so far is identifying where we can work on our product. We haven't been working with G2 for too long so I can't comment on the overall benefits yet but so far its been helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Something that could be improved upon in my experience so far with G2 is the availability of offerings based on the price point. In my opinion its quite an investment and for that investment I believe you should get more access to portions of the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 is solving the problem for us of having a low volume of customer reviews. We are currently focusing on driving more customer stories so that prospective buyers have a place to read real reviews.

What do you like best about the product?
G2 grids are very helpful when it comes to seeing where you are placed against competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
When giving a review you have to have a G2 account, if you don't you need to create one before you can leave a review. I feel like is a sticking point for customers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to showcase our reviews and how we compare to competitors.

Brilliant support team, easy onboarding and quick ROI

What do you like best about the product?
The G2 vendor portal is super easy to use, and the onboarding/ongoing support we've received from the customer success team has been one of the best we've experienced. We hit our initial review target within the first three months of our contract and were awarded the 'High Performer' badge, which has already helped us generate sales-ready leads and beat our competitors to several deals.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't found much to dislike so far. The only improvement I'd suggest is in the widget area - G2 has some of the best review widgets around, but it would be great to have more customisation options to help keep these on-brand when embedding on our website.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 is helping us strengthen our social proof, increase brand awareness and give us an easier way to share honest competitor analysis with prospects that sells usecure for us.

What do you like best about the product?
All the help from the G2 team during our onboarding process. They have shared insights on how to best use the G2 features to maximize the value from the solution, and also shared tips on how to encourage our customers to leave reviews.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike, but sometimes the possibility to customize pages and information even more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 is helping us to gather feedback from our customers to better understand their experiences of using our product.

What do you like best about the product?
I think it is very interesting to have users' opinions to really evaluate a company
as a CS, all my work is focused on ensuring a good experience for our users, and having their point of view and their encouragement via G2 is a very good way to value our work
What do you dislike about the product?
the real difficulty is obtaining reviews. It takes a lot of time to encourage our client teams and get them involved in this mission. It is not easy to get reviews from people who are not directly impacted because they are not employees of our company.

But it's a high value-added job, so we have to take it seriously
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 allows us to enhance our positioning in our quite competitive market, it allows us to encourage our popularity, it allows us to differentiate ourselves from our competitors

Good intent data and powerful content from the real customers

What do you like best about the product?
The access to all different reports, data, reviews, and awards. Plus our BDR team really appreciate the intent data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to creat custom dashboards and reports on my own, not always asking the Customer Success Manager.

An insightful platform with great support

What do you like best about the product?
The peer-review-led aspect of how G2 ranks solutions helps to provide a greater validity to our software and its offering. Despite needing a large upfront payment, it tends to prove more cost-effective in the long term than some of the biddable PPC directories, where you ultimately end up driving up the PPC every month but the number of clicks and leads remain the same.

Our account and customer success managers, Austin and Michael, have both been great in helping us to optimise our profile and get the most out of our G2 package.

Also, really like the new profile sections in the software categories, with the addition of extra data and ratings info.
What do you dislike about the product?
Price increase for renewal was quite a jump in 2022, which wasn't ideal.

Gathering reviews can be difficult due to the need for customers to have to log into G2 in order for them to be validated. Obviously we understand the need to ensure reviews are genuine and of high quality, but we do get regular push-back from our customers who are willing to leave a review, but have abandoned their review or just won't complete one due to the login requirement and length of the questionnaire. The screenshot aspect in particular has proved an annoyance for many.

It's a shame badges awarded to software providers are not displayed alongside each providers profile on the software category list. It'd be a great addition to add extra kudos to profiles.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 has helped us to better understand our position in the marketplace of employee intranets and communications. It's helped drive new leads while providing us with the tools to gain a greater insight into our visitor audience. G2 has provided us with invaluable data on how our customers rate our service and solution, which has proved extremely helpful in conversations with prospective customers comparing us to the competition, and is helping to improve the development roadmap of our product.
