What do you dislike about the product?
We’d love to incorporate more report content into our marketing efforts, but the high cost of report licensing makes it challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collecting authentic reviews and showcasing our leadership in our category.

What do you like best about the product?
G2 has been amazing in showcasing our company and products, particularly in demonstrating our competitive edge against competitor companies. The sales team has been incredibly helpful and fast to respond to any and all inquiries, ensuring we get any resources/information we need in order to collect G2 badges. It's obvious that customers really trust G2 as well!

Market Presence scores can sometimes seem to be trivial and not accurate of a company's information.

G2 helps us gather prospective leads and gives us a competitive edge against competitors.
Easy to use

It's easy to use. Setting up a campaign, monitoring results, and pulling data are simple.

The actual experience of using the portal is fine. I struggle with the fact that G2 itself makes it challenging to rise in the categories because or industry is so saturdated.

It's a Love-Hate Relationship
What do you like best about the product?
G2 has driven leads to our sales team so it does work.
What do you dislike about the product?
For marketing teams, G2 has become something that requires a ton of time and effort. With dozens of badges and awards every quarter, it's a constant game of updating site, signatures, seeing where you're up and down, etc. Getting customers to review and then update their reviews often feels like a full-time job.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the quest for pipeline, G2 is another channel that helps us find people looking for a solution like ours.

What do you like best about the product?
As a software buyer, it's easy to get lost in the sheer volume of too many samey SaaS business solutions - G2 is one of the only places that offers clear directions and guidelines to find the right solution. I can use G2 to guage how easy a solution is to implement for my specific toolstack and clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing - G2 is exceptional and easy to use.

G2 Marketing helps me both assess SaaS solutions for my company *and* it helps me advertise our saas product to those who need it most.

What do you like best about the product?
G2 has a seamless platform that makes marketing activations a breeze. Not to mention, the team at G2 that helps to support our utilization of the tool makes it all the better.

Some of the compontents are quite expensive, however, the ROI typically justifies the spend.

G2 Marketing Solutions is plugged in across our entire revenue engine, and enables a variety of functions at our business to reach the next level of activiations. From badges proudly displayed by our Marketers, to intent data used by our sellers to reach out at the optimized time- G2 Marketing Solutions plays a valuable role in ensuring that our products have a strong presence and are top of mind for prospective customers.

What do you like best about the product?
Getting reviews on G2 has brought a lot of traffic to our companies website that we may otherwise not have gotten.
I like that when looking at the reviews we can see when a review is pending which I like as other similiar platforms do not offer that. If a review is rejected usually they also provide a reason why it was rejected.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes we find out about new "rules" when they happen. A review got rejected for using "AI" we were never aware that was not allowed and never saw a rejection for that reason before the person who left us the review also claimed they didnt use any AI tools to write it. So better communication when changes happen would be helpful to our teams.

Variety of solutions for unique needs
What do you like best about the product?
When you need to figure out what solutions will work best, G2 reps are there to assist you. They offer webinars or individual meetings to discuss your company's needs and what you are trying to accomplish. Setting up and running a campaign is fairly easy, not to mention the ability for a reviewer to update their review.
What do you dislike about the product?
It feels that our dedicated rep changes frequently, and when we need to contact someone about a real issue, it is hard to receive a timely response. It is also difficult at times to identify reviewers in order to address challenges. We had a customer who frequently updated their negative review and it would push that review to the top.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to utilize badges as social proof. It helps these are updated frequently to show these are current and not outdated leadership positions within our category.

What do you like best about the product?
G2 helps us reach out demographic in an easy, fast way - we use it daily to connect with our target market. They also have excellent customer support if you're looking to find a saas solution to business problems
What do you dislike about the product?
N/A no complaints! only potential ask is some software solutions can be missing and the number of features could expand

Ease of use (as an administrator) and implementation are impressive. We definitively want to further use G2 marketing solutions in 2025 so we can get more out of it.
What do you dislike about the product?
There seems to be more friction for users to give reviews on G2 than other platforms. We find it harder to gather reviews from our clients because of that.

We need to gather more customer reviews because social proof is key in our industry.
