What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about G2 Marketing Solutions is that it simplifies the process of generating peer reviews about our products and is easy to use. Also provides us great content and assets we can use.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not really anything that I dislike about G2 Marketing Solutions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 Marketing Solutions benefits me by providing content and assets to use within marketing materials and provides us a simple way to showcase third party customer reviews. It also allows me to keep up with what is being said about products I use and similar products that I may want to consider purchasing in the future.
Incredibly valuable solution for mid-market / enterprise focused tech organizations
What do you like best about the product?
The visibility it creates for us towards our enterprise cstomer base.
What do you dislike about the product?
The algorithm is not weighted strongly enough towards organic reviews and buyers vs users which overly rewards paid, lower quality, reviews.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ensuring that we are in front of our customer base when they are in the buying cycle
Comprehensive & Valuable but Requires Time & Resources
What do you like best about the product?
The comprehensive offerings that are available within the dashboard Are great because they provide deep insights into your target audience and allows you to tailor your Marketing messaging and even relay those insights to the sales organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a lot of different offerings and capabilities that take time and resources to properly and effectively get the maximum value from these solutions. You need to make sure that you have the time and the capacity to not only create the marketing campaigns, but also specific content and messaging That will be most effective for the audience, as well as the competitors that are positioned in G2 who also utilize G2's marketing solutions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 Marketing Solutions is great in that it provides a holistic view of how you are positioned against your competitors, not only from a technical perspective, but also from the perspective and reviews of the actual users of the products.
Very interesting data, even for a smaller company
What do you like best about the product?
They layers of info/data it provides for us: existing customers, prospeccts active in the sales cycle, and net new targets. Also, given my level of HubSpot knowlege (above average) the integration was very easy to get set up and workflows created to alert the right people into our system
What do you dislike about the product?
Its a little confusing that ALL of the important data stuck in one field. It would be great to have the compeititors viewed called out in a seperate field for easier reporting on our end.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem we're using this to solve is prospecting for outbound sales. However, the data is also helping us improve pipeline velocity and churn/upsell assessments on existing customers.
Good for B2B with some limitations
What do you like best about the product?
The user experience on the site is excellent, with an intuitive dashboard and countless ways you can add your documentation and other info. G2 has been super responsive when we need things altered (like our solutions lineup), and the way we're able to collect customer reviews through their incentivization is much better than what we've experienced with other third-party review sites.
What do you dislike about the product?
For some reason, a lot of our clientele in certain verticals don't trust the G2 brand vs. other popular brands like SourceForge when leaving reviews or even browsing our reviews. I'm not sure why -- whether it's lack of advertising on G2's end for the authority of their site or people just not trusting reviews generally nowadays (unless it's on Reddit or TikTok), but it's certainly been a barrier in getting us the qualified feedback we're looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping to build our brand reputation on the web in an increasingly remote world, and it's allowing our users to give us honest feedback so that we can improve our products.
I love G2
What do you like best about the product?
I really like being able to have everything in one place. Running review campaigns through G2 versus "in house" has been such a huge time saver. Jamie Yates is our CSM, and she is AMAZING. When she went on her very well deserved sabatical, we missed her so much - she is such a go getter, has great ideas and is sunshine in human form. She makes our G2 experience breezy and easy!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we were allowed to allocate the remaining funds ourselves versus waiting for someone from G2 to do it, same with creating campaign names.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are saving us a lot of time by sending out the campaigns for us. That frees up not only my time but also our automation teams time. The reports that we also get featured in have been incredible to use for in our marketing materials.
G2 Marketing is cream-of-the-crop
What do you like best about the product?
G2 Marketing Solutions is extremely easy to use and set up, their support is fantastic, and unlike other review sites that you can "buy" your reputation, G2 is based on vetted reviews and the audience speaks for themself.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to complain about, the features are great and easy to set up
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
While we offer our customers to provide feedback directly to us, having a 3rd party where they can leave feedback is very helpful. We take our reviews seriously - thank the good ones, and address the not-so-great ones. It's helped strengthen not only our public view but our relationships with our existing customers.
Great tool for social proof
What do you like best about the product?
It's difficult to get users of SaaS products to leave reviews but G2 streamlines the process by being the unbias party asking for feedback. I also really appreciate the G2 account management team, they're always ready to answer questions or jump on a call.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see some more flexibility with the pricing page module. Not all pricing structures fit into the module they currently offer.

G2 Marketing Solutions is helping us generate social proof that our product is easy-to-use.
