Good for B2B with some limitations
What do you like best about the product?
The user experience on the site is excellent, with an intuitive dashboard and countless ways you can add your documentation and other info. G2 has been super responsive when we need things altered (like our solutions lineup), and the way we're able to collect customer reviews through their incentivization is much better than what we've experienced with other third-party review sites.
What do you dislike about the product?
For some reason, a lot of our clientele in certain verticals don't trust the G2 brand vs. other popular brands like SourceForge when leaving reviews or even browsing our reviews. I'm not sure why -- whether it's lack of advertising on G2's end for the authority of their site or people just not trusting reviews generally nowadays (unless it's on Reddit or TikTok), but it's certainly been a barrier in getting us the qualified feedback we're looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping to build our brand reputation on the web in an increasingly remote world, and it's allowing our users to give us honest feedback so that we can improve our products.
I love G2
What do you like best about the product?
I really like being able to have everything in one place. Running review campaigns through G2 versus "in house" has been such a huge time saver. Jamie Yates is our CSM, and she is AMAZING. When she went on her very well deserved sabatical, we missed her so much - she is such a go getter, has great ideas and is sunshine in human form. She makes our G2 experience breezy and easy!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we were allowed to allocate the remaining funds ourselves versus waiting for someone from G2 to do it, same with creating campaign names.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are saving us a lot of time by sending out the campaigns for us. That frees up not only my time but also our automation teams time. The reports that we also get featured in have been incredible to use for in our marketing materials.
G2 Marketing is cream-of-the-crop
What do you like best about the product?
G2 Marketing Solutions is extremely easy to use and set up, their support is fantastic, and unlike other review sites that you can "buy" your reputation, G2 is based on vetted reviews and the audience speaks for themself.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to complain about, the features are great and easy to set up
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
While we offer our customers to provide feedback directly to us, having a 3rd party where they can leave feedback is very helpful. We take our reviews seriously - thank the good ones, and address the not-so-great ones. It's helped strengthen not only our public view but our relationships with our existing customers.
Great tool for social proof
What do you like best about the product?
It's difficult to get users of SaaS products to leave reviews but G2 streamlines the process by being the unbias party asking for feedback. I also really appreciate the G2 account management team, they're always ready to answer questions or jump on a call.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see some more flexibility with the pricing page module. Not all pricing structures fit into the module they currently offer.

An Authentic Software Marketplace With Peer Reviews I Can Trust
What do you like best about the product?
I love the authenticity of G2 reviews. Users are asked about the positive as well as the negatives about a company they are reviewing, which presents both pro and cons in a userful way. Usability is a key advocacy of mine, so I appreciate the ability to make smarter software decisions based on reviews from actual users.
What do you dislike about the product?
I only dislike the navigation. Sometimes its difficult to find the software solution, or the area you'd like to focus on. You may have to drill down to find what you're looking for. I think it should be easier to find the area you're looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Software decision making. G2 provides a large marketplace with peer reviews from actual users. They are non-biased rankings of the softwares pros and cons. I like the authenticity.

The visibility at the end of a sales cycle.

No lead gen, no awareness. Not great for the main reason we want it.

Amazing team and support
What do you like best about the product?
The support from our AM, Sam Condon is the best part about G2. He has made sure we are taken care of no matter what and regularly checks on us to ensure success.

I have no dislikes currently. This relationship has been great.
