What do you like best about the product?
I like that G2.com is easy to use. I also value the custom links feature, which helps us track where we're getting our reviews.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have to go through our account rep to get custom links made, which can be cumbersome. It would be great to have a function directly on the platform to create custom links easily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?
I like the transparency of this platform. Anybody can come here and write a review. Since the reviews are real and written by real people, if someone wants to use an application, they can come to the G2 platform, read reviews for that specific application, and then decide whether to buy it or use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly there is nothing which I dislike but sometimes my reviews are not passed so I feel disappointed, but apart from this every thing is perfect.But i know that this type of checking is required for a review platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 works to provide honest, real feedback on applications, whether they’re related to software development, HR management, or anything else. They list many different types of applications, collect feedback from real users, and display it on their portal. With the help of these reviews, anyone who is considering an application can come here, read what others have shared, and decide whether the product seems like a good fit before buying or using it.

sometimes the reviews feels a bit repetitive and it's hard to tell which ones are truly the right one. also filtering could be better.

G2 helped us cut down the time we spend researching new tools. before we'd be guessing what to try, but now we get clear feedback and choose the right platform faster. it's saved us time and helped us make smarter decisions on software investments

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of connectors and the quality of data that I can get from G2.com. It helps me get first-party intent into our new custom scoring model and search visibility in AIOs, and I can send this data into our attribution model in hockeystack and then leverage it for custom intent scoring. The initial setup was pretty easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to get more custom data into third-party tools and I'd also like to see more data portability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use G2.com to understand buyer and competitor intent signals. It helps integrate first-party intent into custom scoring models and boosts AI search visibility. The ease of connectors and high data quality lets me leverage this information in attribution models effectively.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that G2.com is a very well-known review platform, especially in The UK and The US. It's trusted by a lot of brands, which is really the main thing for me. Also, as a performance marketing manager, I find their advertising options really beneficial. I can advertise on specific categories and competitors' pages, which is a main advantage for me in terms of advertising.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that I could think about is the fact that G2.com is very well recognized in the UK and US, but for other markets like DACH Germany, which is our main market, it's a known brand, but it's not that important as other platforms like OMR. So, this is something that could be improved, probably like an expansion in other markets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2.com solves the problem of showing trust to potential customers by displaying reviews and average scores, serving as a trust signal.

What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about G2 Marketing Solutions is the depth and quality of the data they provide — it gives us real, actionable insights that inform our strategy. The paid campaigns option is a great way to amplify visibility, and the integrations with LinkedIn and Salesforce make it easy to plug G2 seamlessly into our existing workflows.

But honestly, what stands out the most is the support from their Account Executives. They're proactive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping us get the most out of the platform. It makes a big difference to have an AE who feels like a true partner rather than just a point of contact.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing major to complain about. Occasionally we encounter minor bugs, but they're rare and the support team resolves them quickly. The one area I'd love to see improved is the vendor account menu — the navigation can feel a bit cluttered at times, and a cleaner, more intuitive layout would make the day-to-day experience even smoother.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 Marketing Solutions helps us tackle a few key challenges: streamlining review sourcing, making sense of our performance through analytics, and ensuring we have strong visibility on the G2 platform. The review sourcing tools make it much easier to consistently gather authentic customer feedback, while the analytics give us a clear picture of how we're performing and where we can improve. Being visible on G2 is increasingly important in the buying process, and the platform gives us the tools to maintain and grow that presence effectively.

Exceptional Support and Insightful Data, Minor Oversight Issues

What do you like best about the product?
I definitely appreciate the transparency from the customer support and customer success team at G2.com. They've been really friendly, always listening to our challenges, and proactively helping to solve them. We've been in unique situations, like acquiring more businesses and needing to merge accounts, and the team has been excellent at fitting G2.com into our ecosystem and working out our commercial agreements. I also like the integration with Slack, where intent data is pushed directly into our Slack instance, giving our sales and marketing teams real-time updates on potential market accounts. This integration really helps us.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that doesn't work well for us is related to the acquisition of Capterra and Software Advice. We use Software Advice, and it would have been good to get more upfront oversight of what the roadmap for Software Advice and the whole Gartner digital suite looks like now that it exists within the G2.com ecosystem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use G2.com to capture intent data, helping us identify buyers likely in market for our solutions and providing essential data we can't get elsewhere.
