And this helps users like me to make faster, more confident and reliable decisions when choosing tools for business or personal use, saving time and reducing the risk of picking the wrong solution.

Helpful Platform but Review Approval Process Needs Work
What do you like best about the product?
The verified reviews give real insights from people actually using the tools, and the side-by-side comparisons make it easier to evaluate different options.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’ve had reviews rejected without any clear explanation as to why. As someone who took the time to share honest feedback, that part felt discouraging and not very transparent. If G2 provided more clarity or guidance on what caused a rejection, it would build have gain more traction

Terrible support
What do you like best about the product?
It can be helpful for providing buyer intent signals when it works correctly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The support team is terrible to work with. I have had a ticket open for 6 months and it takes weeks to get a single reply from them. Because we can't get accurate intent signals, our team has started to ignore the notifications from G2.

What do you like best about the product?
The side-by-side comparison thing is the hero part in the G2 platform. Was stuck between Cypress and Playwright and couldn't get straight answers from either vendor. Some reviewer on G2 posted actual performance benchmarks from their CI/CD - exactly what I needed.
Also love reading the 2-star reviews... they're usually the most honest. Like this one guy complaining about Selenium Grid costs literally warned me about the same AWS bill shock we would've hit.

What do you dislike about the product?
The spam emails are insane - looked at ONE monitoring tool and got harassed by sales reps for months.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The comparison charts are clutch too. Needed a mobile testing tool that worked with our weird legacy Android builds. Instead of scheduling 10 vendor calls, spent an hour filtering reviews by company size and use case. Found BrowserStack reviews from teams with similar setups. Two weeks later, we're up and running. Without G2, I'd probably still be in vendor demo hell.

Competitor Alerts: It can nudge you if your current software starts getting bad reviews compared to rivals.

Kill the Fluff: They need better filters to hide "incentivised" reviews that don't offer real technical depth.
Stricter Verification: Even with LinkedIn, "anonymous" reviews still pop up—forcing more real identities would boost trust.
Better Search: Finding a specific feature mentioned within a lengthy review is still more challenging than it should be.
Universal Pricing: They should push every vendor to list real prices, not just the ones that feel like being transparent.

The main problem G2 solves for me is finding reliable software options with real user experiences. It makes comparisons easier and helps me avoid tools that don’t meet expectations. However, sometimes I still need to do extra research outside of G2 for deeper insights.
