Intuitive Platform, Needs Scoring Clarity

What do you like best about the product?
I like G2.com's intuitive backend, which allows me to find what and where I need quickly. I also appreciate the thorough documentation on absolutely everything, making it simple to implement key features and integrations. The initial setup was fairly easy despite some technical requirements, and setting up the profile stuff was simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
The score out of 100 is not clear. We fill out everything and still only at 40/100. Tell us exactly what is required to get to 100, and assign points to certain items so they can be ticked off and we make progress.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2.com boosts product visibility and attracts traffic, especially from solid prospects.

Transformative User Insights, Needs Better Support

What do you like best about the product?
I like the dashboard on G2.com because it readily showcases categories, our movement, and the number of reviews along with certain graphs that are easy to visualize and report to leadership. This ease of visualization makes tracking campaigns a lot easier. I appreciate that it allows us to collect customer testimonials, which is crucial for our customer marketing KPIs and provides insights into how traffic moves between G2 and our website. I also find the setup process really good since it lets you set up even before having paid services, and even though the more complex features take some time, they are eventually easy to understand compared to other intent platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe the pricing model has changed substantially over the last sometime. And, I also perhaps do not love the sort of customer service customer success support that we received from G2.com. I think it could be a lot more personalized, a lot more target oriented, something that a lot of other competitors do offer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2.com helps us gather customer testimonials that we can't collect internally, compare ourselves to competitors, and monitor traffic and reviews crucial for marketing KPIs.

What do you like best about the product?
When I started my job after being out of the workforce for 11 years, I was completely new to G2. The onboarding support from the G2 team made a huge difference. They took ample time to walk me through the platform.

The features we use regularly have definitely had a positive impact. The reviews give us actionable insights into what customers value and where we can improve, which helps both our product and messaging. The Grid Reports and Quarterly Reports make it easy to showcase our market positioning, and we regularly use these assets to support sales conversations. The badges serve as an easy, identifiable “badge of honor” that builds trust with prospects.

We're also really loving the AI Search Visibility to see where we land on LLMs. Always so eye-opening!

I admit there is still a lot of functionality we aren't using yet due to time constraints. Overall I highly recommend.
What do you dislike about the product?
Now that I'm in it, I can navigate easily. It took a little getting used to and recently, there was an update and I didn't realize there had been one (could be I missed an email) but I needed help navigating to a few places.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 gives us credibility with customer voices to back it up. Also gives us the ability to see how we stack up against the competition.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how G2.com gives me a clear picture across top of funnel, mid-funnel, and bottom of funnel activities. The feature that shows me prospects visiting my competitor's pricing and review pages is really helpful. It helps me identify prospects who are actively evaluating solutions in my industry. Also, the initial setup was quite explainable, easy to understand, and customer-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s a bit pricey, and the buyer-intent data can sometimes feel pretty noisy or hard to interpret.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2.com helps me get a clearer view of funnel activity and identify prospects who are actively evaluating solutions in my industry.

What I dislike about G2 Marketing Solutions is that it can be quite expensive, especially for smaller teams, and results often depend heavily on having a strong volume of reviews. Without that, it’s harder to see consistent ROI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 Marketing Solutions helps solve the challenge of reaching high-intent buyers and building trust in a crowded market. It provides visibility into prospects actively researching solutions through buyer intent data, allowing us to target the right audience at the right time. Additionally, verified customer reviews act as strong social proof, which improves credibility and increases conversion rates, ultimately driving more qualified leads and better ROI from our marketing efforts.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how it provides visibility to a prospective customer on what other customers are talking about your own product. From a user standpoint, the dashboard feature provides insights into new reviews, competitive analysis and marketing content. Lastly, I appreciate the support that the G2 team provides.
What do you dislike about the product?
The weighting of market presence in G2’s rankings can sometimes disadvantage smaller or growing companies. Even with strong satisfaction scores, they may rank lower compared to larger vendors with broader reach. Introducing a way to better spotlight high-performing smaller teams would make the platform more balanced and help buyers discover high-quality but less visible solutions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 Marketing Solutions helps us systematically build credible social proof by driving customer reviews, which increases visibility into how real users perceive our product. This not only strengthens our brand trust but also influences buyer decisions. What do you like best about the product?
I've been using G2 Marketing Solutions for couple of months but the leads actually make sense for our business. They're not just random contacts; they feel targeted and relevant.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that's been a dealbreaker honestly. If I had to nitpick, maybe the dashboard takes a little getting used to at first. It's not immediately obvious where everything lives. But it's a minor thing and you figure it out pretty quickly.
