Great support from the G2 team!
What do you like best about the product?
All the help from the G2 team during our onboarding process. They have shared insights on how to best use the G2 features to maximize the value from the solution, and also shared tips on how to encourage our customers to leave reviews.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike, but sometimes the possibility to customize pages and information even more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 is helping us to gather feedback from our customers to better understand their experiences of using our product.

I think it is very interesting to have users' opinions to really evaluate a company

What do you dislike about the product?
the real difficulty is obtaining reviews. It takes a lot of time to encourage our client teams and get them involved in this mission. It is not easy to get reviews from people who are not directly impacted because they are not employees of our company.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 allows us to enhance our positioning in our quite competitive market, it allows us to encourage our popularity, it allows us to differentiate ourselves from our competitors
Good intent data and powerful content from the real customers
What do you like best about the product?
The access to all different reports, data, reviews, and awards. Plus our BDR team really appreciate the intent data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to creat custom dashboards and reports on my own, not always asking the Customer Success Manager.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
External proof point to convince customers about our selling points.
An insightful platform with great support
What do you like best about the product?
The peer-review-led aspect of how G2 ranks solutions helps to provide a greater validity to our software and its offering. Despite needing a large upfront payment, it tends to prove more cost-effective in the long term than some of the biddable PPC directories, where you ultimately end up driving up the PPC every month but the number of clicks and leads remain the same.
Our account and customer success managers, Austin and Michael, have both been great in helping us to optimise our profile and get the most out of our G2 package.
Also, really like the new profile sections in the software categories, with the addition of extra data and ratings info.

What do you dislike about the product?
Price increase for renewal was quite a jump in 2022, which wasn't ideal.
Gathering reviews can be difficult due to the need for customers to have to log into G2 in order for them to be validated. Obviously we understand the need to ensure reviews are genuine and of high quality, but we do get regular push-back from our customers who are willing to leave a review, but have abandoned their review or just won't complete one due to the login requirement and length of the questionnaire. The screenshot aspect in particular has proved an annoyance for many.
It's a shame badges awarded to software providers are not displayed alongside each providers profile on the software category list. It'd be a great addition to add extra kudos to profiles.

G2 has helped us to better understand our position in the marketplace of employee intranets and communications. It's helped drive new leads while providing us with the tools to gain a greater insight into our visitor audience. G2 has provided us with invaluable data on how our customers rate our service and solution, which has proved extremely helpful in conversations with prospective customers comparing us to the competition, and is helping to improve the development roadmap of our product.

What do you like best about the product?
G2 Marketing solutions are very professional. They provide excellent account management, various profile features and last, but not least, they provide quality traffic & leads to your SaaS solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike really, we are very satisfied.

Presenting software in a realistic, non-biased way and comparing different alternatives. It's mostly beneficial for customers, but if you product is great, G2 will certainly make it even greater.

What do you like best about the product?
The best part of working with G2 Marketing Solutions is building out your company profile, allowing our own prospects to gain information and see real-world feedback and reviews from our customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much to dislike, but I wish our company profile page would be a little more customizable. I'm also not a bug fan of the 'discussions' section as you are nto allowed to curate your own FAQs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 Marketing Solutions creates a page where out company prospects can go and see real-world reviews of our products and services. This is extremely valuable as prospects want to hear from current customers about our products to get away from all the marketing fluff that is promoted on our site.
More than just reviews – G2 gives tangible insights
What do you like best about the product?
G2 is one of the first places software buyers go to learn about your product these days, so it really gives us an opportunity to showcase our product and the amazing users we have.
But it's more than just reviews, the buyer intent information and other analytics are helpful to not only create leads, but also move opportunities through the pipeline.
To cap it off, their customer success and accounts team are second to none. I've worked with a number of reps at different organizations across a number locations and each and every one of them have been proactive and a pleasure to work with.

What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally the backend UI will have some quirks that get resolved (like lists not scrolling the way I expect, or buttons not leading to where I think they should lead), but even these get resolved rather quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social proof and word-of-mouth is such a huge part of creating trust around a business or product. G2 helps capture that word-of-mouth and display it at scale for anyone that's interested.
G2 also gives us an idea of what industries are interested in our categories, which is extremely helpful in creating messaging and planning marketing&sales activities.

Great onboarding experience with G2
What do you like best about the product?
We've only been using the platform actively for some months. But so far it's actually the personal help that we have received during the onboarding which has been the best part of the experience. I should also add that the Product portal is very valuable and contains a lot of useful information and material for marketing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would have loved to be able to customize the page that people get to when they start to write a review, being able to describe the process a bit further so the person knows what steps they need to go through in order to submit a review.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think this builds brand credibility and also helps us with brand awareness. It's a great place for potential buyers to find information about the software that they would never find on the vendor's own website!

What do you like best about the product?
In general, I find the platform rather easy to navigate, and the team responds quickly when I have doubts.

Nothing I dislike. I should dedicate more time to take full advantage.
