G2 sets the bar for software reviews & more!
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate G2's platform innovation and the willingness of their team to help us through any technical difficulties we may encounter. They have also been very helpful in optimizing our lead generation and external review strategies.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI response tool is a great new feature, but it can be very wonky and frustrating to use when responding to hundreds of reviews. I also wish you could filter by reviews with no responses from the main review activity dashboard. Another ask - being able to search reviews by keyword (this might already exist, not entirely sure).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 is helping us gather local user feedback and market our products to prospective buyers.

What do you like best about the product?
I see G2 represented in my organization along with my top clients. I think that their digital marketing services are engaging and tailored to our businesses' needs and internal strategies. Its helped to incorporate our company data with G2 capabilities to drive growth. the reviews are very helpful to give clients a voice and deliver better value.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have anything I dislike. I would just say that I'm unaware of G2's full suite of solutions and capabilities. So more visibility into offerings is always helpful for clients.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Buyer intent is all about hitting the right people at the right time to provide relevant services and drive growth for both parties. I love the updates of potential connections I can make everyday.
G2 is our go-to party for reports, information and badges to show the world
What do you like best about the product?
G2 is easy to use and integrates well with our existing tech stack. The Slack notifications are very helpful for the extended team and targeted lists are used by our ads team. We don't need customer support that much, but if we do we get a listening ear.
What do you dislike about the product?
The embedded grid can be a bit bulky on our webpages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're always interested in the customers and the market we are active in. The G2 reviews give us an honest insight into what our users wish to write about our software or services. Because of the integration options, we always get a realtime insight into the pro's and con's and can act accordingly.

I like how G2 MS gives out badges for your company based on what they excel at

I heard G2 MS badges became more pay-to-play in that you’ll get more badges the more money you throw at them? Please correct me if i'm wrong.

It leverages social proof in my social media posts to entice buyers to come to us vs our competitors

We’d love to incorporate more report content into our marketing efforts, but the high cost of report licensing makes it challenging.

Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use. Setting up a campaign, monitoring results, and pulling data are simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
The actual experience of using the portal is fine. I struggle with the fact that G2 itself makes it challenging to rise in the categories because or industry is so saturdated.

It's a Love-Hate Relationship
What do you like best about the product?
G2 has driven leads to our sales team so it does work.
What do you dislike about the product?
For marketing teams, G2 has become something that requires a ton of time and effort. With dozens of badges and awards every quarter, it's a constant game of updating site, signatures, seeing where you're up and down, etc. Getting customers to review and then update their reviews often feels like a full-time job.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the quest for pipeline, G2 is another channel that helps us find people looking for a solution like ours.
Cuts through the chaff to find the best SaaS products on the market
What do you like best about the product?
As a software buyer, it's easy to get lost in the sheer volume of too many samey SaaS business solutions - G2 is one of the only places that offers clear directions and guidelines to find the right solution. I can use G2 to guage how easy a solution is to implement for my specific toolstack and clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing - G2 is exceptional and easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 Marketing helps me both assess SaaS solutions for my company *and* it helps me advertise our saas product to those who need it most.
Excellent support and fantastic product
What do you like best about the product?
G2 has a seamless platform that makes marketing activations a breeze. Not to mention, the team at G2 that helps to support our utilization of the tool makes it all the better.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the compontents are quite expensive, however, the ROI typically justifies the spend.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
G2 Marketing Solutions is plugged in across our entire revenue engine, and enables a variety of functions at our business to reach the next level of activiations. From badges proudly displayed by our Marketers, to intent data used by our sellers to reach out at the optimized time- G2 Marketing Solutions plays a valuable role in ensuring that our products have a strong presence and are top of mind for prospective customers.
Highs and lows of G2
What do you like best about the product?
The review process is simple as far as providing the linik and then G2 takes care of sending out the giftcards for our customers who leave reviews
What do you dislike about the product?
The accept and decline process for reviews seems to possibly be taken over by AI and we have had a lot of errors with reviews getting declined that should not have which causes more work on our end, we have to reach out to support to dispute it, they have to review it then reach back out to us and reverse the decline to an accept.
The support given has severely went down., We have an assigned AM and we when responses needed it took almost 3 weeks before getting one then had to CC their superior beyond that to get response.
G2 recently changed their UI on the website with no email- which normally fine-- but trying ti figure out where they moved things was impossible and their AI Chat Bot only referenced the old UI when you asked them questions it was an extremely frustrating experience...
